Missing the players that we should be looking for right now I won't bother with Alves, i know that i'm going to get slated but i think he's overrated and over priced.. and gets over exposed on his defensive duties.. We have Arbeloa who has yet to get a run at Right Back and Finnan as cover. Get me Lahm for the Left Back position

he has played in all the front positions and excelled in none. Don't get me wrong.. he has a great work rate but not very good for what he was bought for.. "He's just shite" IMO

Itandje made some good saves .. didn't look too bad between the posts.. Momo.. I wish he'd go for simple passes to the free man instead of trying to run with the ball. Momo, Get the ball and pass. That is all you have to do.. Maybe some time in the reserves will bring his passing and control back to what it was.

Why is everyone now knocking crouch, 2 weeks ago he was the Man of the moment that should be playing upfront with Torres. As for Benayuon, When he started scoring.. My God.. praise was all i heard and that fact that he should be playing every week.. Sorry but i don't agree that these were bad buys.. i think that Rafa made good deals with both of them. Every team needs squad players.. and these are 2 quality ones. Yes, I think there are players that we have that could be offloaded (Momo, Kuyt, Pennant, Riise, Voronin) to buy some real quality in the 3 positions that are weak (LB, CB & Winger), But Crouch and Benayuon.. i would keep them.

supposedly Lahm will play at right back.. he's right footed but can play both sides very effectively

I would have to agree but i don't think we need a RB but a strong winger that has the ability to play both wings, stay wide to deliver quality crosses or make the odd run for goal.. dare i say it, We need a Ronaldo.

:thumbup: Great to see short quick passes by every player.. the Full Backs, even though they got caught out of position a few times played fantastic, with great run and passing.

I think Riise is a good player that has served the club well but I think Liverpool need to start moving for a top players in all the positions not just LB/LWB. I know I will probably be shot but I think we need to start seriously thinking about a long term replacement for Carragher aswell.. so that he will have time to settle in before we move Carra as the covering CB. Hyypia is too slow for a covering CB and should be offloaded as soon as we get a top CB.
