Do we really need to spend big to replace Sami seeing as we've got about 20 centre backs in the youth team and noone is gonna displace Carra or Agger for a while? Does anyone who watches them reckon any of our youngsters at CB could step up to the bench next year?

While I do think Berbatov is good and has an exceptional first touch if we were in the Uefa playing the sort of no mark teams that Spurs have been this season I'd back Dirk to have scored just as many as him, so Im not sure he'd be worth the £15m+ it'd cost to bring him here when I reckon Kuyt is just as good if not better.
