  1. Agreed. I think that we did something similar with Gomez. He needs to be leaner/ less muscle bulk.Watching England is as boring as fuck. What a shit atmosphere, boring as fuck thing to be apart of. Heavy metal football under Klopp is on another level. Imagine your motivation levels being sapped by this shit? And the feeling of going back to your club and seeing Arsene Wenger, which would gut you of your last piece of life's joy? Let's give him a chance. We can always chuck him under the bus later! https://youtu.be/UsN6Z7F9ci0 Utter shite. I swear id .............
  2. I hope he plays well too mate, i guess I'm done with him because the emotion has caused him to miss 5 very important games which I would have expected him to contribute towards, especially as he did reasonably well last season and did his part to get us to a CL qualifier. I suspect that there are some very tough Brazilians, i just think that Coutinho is a wee bit lacking in that having any bollocks area. His conduct has angered me and his tears embarrass me, as a supporter of our club. I know that not every one will have my take on it, but no one will be happier than me if and when he contributes anything towards any success that we have.
  3. Does anyone with more knowledge than me know his best position? I've only seen glimpses of him and was never truely impressed until I saw him in central midfield this pre season where I thought that his range of passing was extremely impressive.
  4. Embarrassing. The little cry made me laugh though. I will cheers the goals and assists, i support liverpool football club not vexed at the ridiculous cunt FC. But he can fuck off next summer. Unforgivable.
  5. Overall, i think we are far better. Solanke is a player for the two banks of four sides with Mane, Salah and Firmino providing the ammunition. I'm delighted with him and what he offers. I was very impressed with Can as the midfielder furthest forward Vs Arsenal and id love us to sign him up to a new contract. Clearly, Oxlade idolises Stevie G and offers pace and power to central midfield and far better cover for Mane and Salah than Origi ( heart sinks at his inclusion). The drop off in quality isnt so severe. He has backed himself and if reports are true, turned down more money at Arsenal and the current champions. I think that Salah is a magnificent signing and Mane is awesome right or left. Keita is a magnificent signing. RBL wouldnt sell and we have absolutely done the right thing in signing him up. I see great things in Grujic and i hope he gets a chance to develop and impress. I really believe that he could have excellent goal scoring statistics for a midfielder and i love his physicality. Klopp can mould that one. Coutinho is the one that troubles me. I am offended by his sore back and low mood messing with our games up to now, not playing, including our CL qualifier. I would have happily sold him for his actions and bought Lemar. He is a good player however, so from now on he can be utilised in midfield or as a rotating winger for Mane or Salah. The idea seemed to be, before all these shenanigans, to play him more centrally this season and i think that that is the right thing to do. If Klopp allows Coutinho to leave next summer im very happy to think that he will be shopping at the top level, which seems to be the line being communicated to us through the media. All this and Lallana coming back in November ish, and i really like Lallana in a Klopp side, but prefer him central as opposed to being utilised in the forward line. I have seen positives from Gomez, and (please don't neg me) Moreno too. It seems that he is making less mistakes and lets say it, he is not asked to hold back on his attacking runs as he would if Mourinho was in charge of him. We have Clyne to come back who can operate both full back positions and then of course we have TAA, who has a magnificent future in the game, though id like to see his impressive talents in midfield at some point. I agree that the CB position should have got a signing but, to remain on a positive, it may be that Klopp promised VVD that he wouldnt let him down after the approach fiasco and he didn't. We didn't dump him for another bit of skirt and players appear to be picking the Liverpool project now over clubs that we have lost out to in recent years. I even thought that Robertson did well on his debut. The development curve should see us top 4 again, with Keita signed up and a second successive qualificationto to the CL to further reinforce our ability to make further good signings next summer, or indeed, in January. If Coutinho leaves next summer, fuck him, we have lost better and we will have better players in the future. All this, and Sturridge playing with a smile on his face. I really wanted Lemar and VVD, but I back Klopp and his vision.
  6. Delighted with this. Negotiated a deal for Klopp's preferred player. I haven't seen eye to eye with you this summer Jimmycase, but you are looking fairly golden to me at the moment
  7. I thought that too, he played some excellent passes. I liked Klopps 'welcome to adult football' comment. Both full backs were really good i thought. It looked like someone had got through to Moreno about balancing risks. Tougher tests to come, but its nice to have no real issues with anyone. I even thought that Henderson did really well!

  9. I think that Conte has developed Moses into a really good right wing back. He has turned into quite a balanced player, offensively and defensively. He is also a league winner, but not in the same way as 'champions league winning Djimi Traore'. He contributed to that. I think he also won the African Cup of Nations with Nigeria and played in tbe Uefa cup win.He isnt the player that was average for us in the same way that Alonso is a far better player at Chelsea. You do limit your suitors list to English clubs, but out of interest, what English clubs do you propose and who would he regularly replace? I am also interested in how you feel his role holds him back at Liverpool. What else would you have him do instead and what improvement would you expect to see and at the expense of whom in the team? Any comparison to Gerrard certainly wouldnt come from me. I think that his level of play is no where near that of Gerrard, he cannot inspire with his footballing ability nor with his influence on games. He has no real leadership qualities on the field of play either. He does shit out of challenges, he does hide and he is, in my view, unsuited to the club captaincy as he is not vocal enough, organising or galvanizing. That might be the comparison of which you speak. It is just that, in my mind. People might bemoan that he is not Gerrard as he is not a top player and he cannot influence games in a meaningful way. I do not compare him with Gerrard, its just that Gerrard highlights what Henderson does not have.
  10. Sell sell sell. Buy an up and coming winger, where Divock has found himself playing in recent times. Mane or Salah out, origi? Or Milly? Maybe D Gray from Leicester. Pacey and tricky, not the finished product but could develop really well here. Solanke has earned his place in this squad imo.
  11. Firstly, it was probably the right pass, and you are right, i dont like him as a midfield player for us, but my point was really to show amazement at the proposition put forward by Walter, that in some way he passed to Firmino after ruminating, just before he passed it off, that the No9 scoring would be better for team morale. That that decision was a sign of his good captaincy.I dont like him as a midfield player for us and i am also amazed that he is club captain. One way or another, you need a captain that leads or inspires with ability. I see neither with Jordan. Of course, for me to suggest that everything he does is utterly shite would be stupid, but as has been said, none of the top clubs would have him in their starting 11.
  12. Strange how we could see that so differently. To me, it means that he is simply passing to a better player and shirking any responsibility, just as i would expect. He would also be thinking a bit deep, before making a split second decision. That view might be shaped by my attitude towards him of course. He is absolutely not good enough for our midfield. He is a media savvy nice guy though. He is probably just the mouthpiece that our probity loving, but devoid of any footballing nous overlords like to see at press conferences. A real Geruda Indonesia deal breaker.
  13. I was thinking that. Just look at Arsenal, AOC, Sanchez, Ozil and Wilshere all in tbe last 12 months of their contracts and Southampton and RBL refusing to sell to us and likewise us to FCB. Something must give. Players under long contracts and counted as assets for clubs might change. Not sure what the football world would look like though. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4744598/amp/Wenger-Having-players-final-year-contracts-ideal.html#ampshare=http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4744598/Wenger-Having-players-final-year-contracts-ideal.html
  14. Buy some defenders and a midfielder now. It couldnt have been kinder really.
  15. I find that staggering. We had Wijnaldum, Milly and a shit Steven Gerrard in there and you dont think Coutinho and Lallana would have improved the play?

  17. Big critic of tbe Robertson signing but i cant really fault him today. Echo the positive comments on Solanke!
  18. I think your right Suzy, he has spoken in many interviews like a winner, which is a quality that i think that we as a side lack and need. Good luck young man. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/trent-alexander-arnold-liverpool-exclusive-12993256.amp#ampshare=http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/trent-alexander-arnold-liverpool-exclusive-12993256
  19. Matic is a good player, no denying it. Grujic would contribute goals and he passes the ball with purpose. I think Grujic is capable of playing the Matic role in time, but I think his assets make him a goal scoring midfielder, who is also physically imposing. I have some big concerns for this season, but i think that Marko, TAA and Solanke could do really well for us if given the chance, with some tactical and formational changes. I do love seeing young players develop and i would much rather see that than watch some of the usual suspects. A midfield and forward line of Grujic Can Salah Firminho Mane Solanke/ Sturridge
  20. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/klopp-acknowledges-lovren-contract-mixed-12959828 Lovren. I dont think the coaching is going very well. His decision making is extremely poor, time and time again. Some people are incapable of learning, even with a great coach/manager, for a variety of reasons. We need to do far better, now. The heavy metal football cannot be played when Lovren is your centre back. That is particularly the case with a midfield like that. I am not a fan of Henderson, i find it difficult to understand how he is club captain. He is a media savvy bloke, in the main (except for his annoying propensity to say the word "hopefully") but he is gutless, has no influence on the field of play, and hides when we need leadership and direction. That costs us badly. We need a leader badly and we need Klopp to have tbe guts to do what is right for the group. We miss Lallana badly. He doesnt get the credit he deserves and is blamed for tbe fact that he has been used in tbe front 3 because there was no one else and his consistency suffered. Grujic has a high potential and had a shot the goal keeper had to save and did not shirk his challenges. He should absolutely start games from now, because the tried and trusted are tried and failed and i dont trust them, other than to add fuck all, where i trust them implicitly. We were lucky, but as things stand for me, it wont really matter, because that set up with those players will get hurt badly by a top team and we wont get top four this season.
  21. Thick cunt arguements might suggest that all the shirts would be sold by the end of august. I like the irony in his post, suggesting that we would invest the return from sporadic 3rd kit sales by the end of August towards any transfer kitty. Your development on what was said is on par with shirt burning knobheads.
