  1. I can't remember him publicly defending Evra once during the months that case went on for. It took him five days to clear Clattenburg of all charges.
  2. I checked all his yellow cards from the start of last season. I could only find the one against Villa at home last season and the one against Sunderland where he was cautioned for diving (neither of them were correct). Other than that he has received two more this season (neither for diving) and he got four more last season (Wigan (H), Spurs (H&A) and Stoke (A). None from diving.) I might not have found all of his cautions, I did not look through every game from last season but from statistics I found he only received five yellows last season and those five I have found. If I am correct, that statistics isn't correct. Considering that the two situations that he did get a yellow for diving wasn't dives, it just shows how ridiculous it is to use that statistic to imply that it is Suarez' own fault that he doesn't get the penalties he deserves.
  3. I take it you don't agree? I just thought it should be mentioned when we're comparing squads. I don't think the discussion should be; have we improved since he took over? I think it should be; have we improved enough given the money he's had and the time he's had? But, that discussion has been done to death, so I'll leave it at that. I'm sorry if I ruined your day by posting;)
  4. You have to remember that Gerrard is more or less one of the attackers now, so yes, I think we have improved.
  5. You should compare the best players in each position to eachother. If you compare our central defence to Uniteds like this; Ferdinand vs Hyypiä - Ferdinand Vidic vs Carra - Carra Brown vs Agger - Agger O'Shea vs Skrtel - Skrtel We win 3-1, we have clearly the best central defenders? Understand? It's not about it fitting my Agenda or not, it's about making a fair comparison. That's my opinion, anyway.
  6. Maybe you didn't have an agenda, I don't know, but to me it seemed like you had. I think you should compare the best players then against the best players now. That makes it a more fair comparison. It really doesn't matter if he's foreign or homegrown, when we talk about improvement I think you should compare quality to quality in each position. That's why I think you should be comparing Torres vs Owen and Keane vs Diouf. About Kuyt vs Murphy, we just disagree. Sorry about the agenda-comment, wasn't meant to be taken very seriously, but seems like it was uncalled for.
  7. We don't know that Dossena is awful. We know that Vignal was awful. That's why it should be an easy choice between them two;)
  8. In fairness you should compare Torres to Owen and Keane to Diouf. Kuyt is clearly better than Murphy was. You clearly have an agenda, so I won't say anymore.;)
  9. No, I think you'll find that if you treat him like a child that wants attention, by just ignoring him and not giving him a reaction, he will either try to stop annoying people and behave or he'll get bored and find someone else to bother.
  10. You know, you're giving him exactly what he wants and you make his days worth living.:ermm:
  11. Okey, maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. Could we please just leave it there? I don't need to hear the same opinions over and over.
  12. How dare that bitch, with a pathetic pointless life, abuse you? He doesn't even know you! What a pathetic, great bully-bitch!
  13. So everyone should wait until it's announced on LFC.tv and then they can come with their inside-information about the deal? That makes sense. ES isn't Rick Parry or Rafa and because of that he can't be 100% sure that his information is 100% correct, but still he's decent enough to let us in on the information he's heard. We thank him by slagging him off. We're so nice.
  14. Because thats how football has evolved. If you wanna stay in the 60s, football-wise, then thats okey. I'm just telling you how I think football is now, where everyone has to do a defensive job. At least with Rafa as a manager.
  15. But you did, didn't you? Football isn't just statistics, you can't have just goalscorers in your team. Even if the position Kuyt played last season usually isn't about doing a good defensive job, that doesn't mean he's doing bad in that position. For every defensive job he does, someone else doesn't have to. That means that someone else will be free to do an attacking job, if you know what I mean. You have to look at all the angles, not just the easy ones.
  16. Kuyt and Babel play more as forwards than as wingers. Forward isn't the same as a striker.
  17. Yeah, I agree with you, but with 4-2-3-1 the idea is alot the same, you need the fullbacks to provide width but instead of a extra centreback you have 2 holding midfielders to cover for the fullbacks going forward. I don't think 4-4-2 suits us very much anymore, because of the lack of quality in the flanks.
  18. And I do also think that the most important thing for him is to know what he has to work with. Obviously he wants as much as possible, but as long as he knows what he has to work with, he can start his work.
  19. You are correct, sir, but I don't think he'd cost a fraction of what Barry would cost. Valencia bought him for €18M 6 months ago and they won't sell him for less than what Barry would cost. He'd be a much bigger risk than Barry.
  20. Weird to have "I don't know" as an option but not have "none" as an option. I think Pennant could go, since we need the money. I think Yossi is doing an okey job.
