My dad used to manage Alex Higgins about 18 years ago, I always remember him as a lovely man when he came around our house, and when I went with them to exhibition matches he used to make all owners of the club we were at to treat me like a star, they were only interested in ball licking him but he got a laugh out of making them run round after a little scally!:biggrin:

I think he was argueing that Martins was a long way out from goal, and the ball was heading towards the corner, a yellow card would have been enough.
