A mate has directed me towards another web design site - Easily.co.uk I had a play the other night, and it look straight forward to set up and get running. Its only a basic information site that I need to get off the ground initially so that it looks smart for anyone to have a quick look at. At the minute I'm pullng together the blurb for the webpages, and will get the site up and running this week. But I will have a look at the other 2 web design sites you've mentioned. Cheers

I have just had the pleasure of being made redundant (thought I had escaped the last round). Been here for 10 years and it adds up to fuck all! Instead of feeling sorry for myself, I am going to get drunk this week and then next week try and get my own business off the ground. Its something I've thought about before but never followed throught with, as it was on the too difficult to do list. Anyway, now I will have plenty of time on my hand and its about time I pushed myself into something! First thing I need to do is design a website, something that looks half decent but that I with my limited tecky experience could pull together in a couple of hours. Any recommendations where I could start looking? I have been told that some of the software that I will need to use has to be able to be read by the search engines. The business will be basic accounting and tax advice support. Don't ask it is very boring! :wallbutt: Any and all help appreciated. Cheers

Have to agree, I saw more from him in 15 mins last night to convince me that he should be coming off the bench, before any of the other wasters. Definitely looks a good prospect. His first touch last night was bang on the money and forced their keeper into making a good save at the near post. Just got back from the 2.30 show myself. Have to say I thought it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, and Nicky Allt and the cast and crew should be really proud of what they have put together. A great show, hilarious in parts and for me brought back some real good memories of Istanbul and Taksim Square - wish I could do it again!

I got a call a couple of nights ago from a lady who said she was calling on behalf of the club. She asked if I wanted to attend the Focus group meeting on Thursday (tonight) to discuss the new stadium / transport links etc. It will be attended by club officials, didn't say who, and supporters would have an opportunity to voice their opinion. Anyway, got the invite in the post this morning . Anyone else going / been invited? I suspect they are trying to keep this low key so suspect they have only invited a small number of season ticket holders / fan card holders whatever.

Just had a look at Betfred and they have a free bet offer for new members. So if I bet £50 on us to win league at 11/4 I get a free £50 bet the next day. So I could put that on say chelsea to cover myself incase we don't do it? (assuming Mancs don't). If the first bet comes in and we win league my £50 is worth just over £110. If the free bet comes in, I easily get my money back anyway!!! Bit easy this betting lark!!

Agreed - I can't see Chelsea putting together a consistent run of wins, but the Mancs could.

As new year tomorrow I fancy putting a flutter on us kicking on to win the league. Where is the best site to get odds on us winning the league? I was in the away end yesterday with a good view of what happened in the East stand. I have to say that it was more than a couple of isolated incidents. When we scored it kicked off right in the top corner, and a couple of liverpool fans got a right slapping surrounded by at least 20 wigan 'fans'. There was one family of 4 (including 2 under 10 yr old lads) who had to leave when it kicked off, among many others. I saw at least 15 liverpool fans getting kicked out - probably were told it was for their own safety! One older Liverpool fan, probably aged 60 was spat and punched at, as he was being dragged out by Wigan stewards. Wigan fans in that end yesterday, were a absolute disgrace, yet when they come to Anfield they will expect to sit in among us and be treated as little old Wigan, what nice fans they are, come and enjoy the match etc! etc! I know this isn't all Wigan fans, but Wigan FC should be looking at the CCTV coverage of what happended in the corner of the East stand yesterday and banning the troublemakers. They won't! And it will get worse at the JJB! I am finished with Wigan, I used to think they were an inoffensive club ,but now I would rather they are relegated. If it happened at Anfield we would be getting pelters!:telloff:

Has anyone with Freeview subscribed to Setanta? I was chatting with a lad in the pub last night and he told me its only £10 a month to subscribe. You need a box with a card slot, which they send you, and then you're off and running. How many channels do you get my subscribing this way? I want to get a package so can pick up the GAA and AFL etc as well as the Priemership and not sure whether the Freeview option gives you the right channels? Does any one know?

Cheers lads. Looks like we are going to do the Bari route. There is another ferry route from Venice but I think this route which would be a lot less drive is nearly 36 hours on the crossing.

Me and my mates have come round to a serious consideration about driving to Athens. Money is tight for us all at the minute and we only have 1 guaranteed ticket through the electronic ballot between 8 of us. So we weren't going to risk paying a shit load of money to get to Athens and possibly have no ticket. But going to the match today has changed my thoughts. We were all lucky enough to make Istanbul, and coming out of the ground today with everyone talking about Athens, made us think we just have to get there! All those memories. Someone on RAOTL posted a link to a European route finder http://www.viamitchelin.com which puts the distance at 3500 Kms taking 36 hours. I easily reckon that we can rent a car and drive there and back for £200 with a bit of an adventure on the way! Is anyone else driving ? Does anyone have any tips? (Even if its to say don't do it!)
