How else are you going to satisfy people's insatiable appetite for transfer tittle tattle? There's very little that happens over the course of the roughly 12 weeks of summer window. There's probably about a week between a bid being accepted and the lean. If you make 4 signings that's 4 weeks and you've another 56 days to fill in between all that with very little info from clubs.

We've been used to this level of failure for a while whereas the 90s was a total shock to the system having been used to success for so long. I'd say the 90s were worse. Never thought we'd go this long without a league.
