  1. Yeah, shame they never had any footage of the concourse from OT in January. They glossed over too much for me, although it was only Bravo so can't really expect too much quality. Those Burnley fellas were so inbred.
  2. That Oleguer looks like David Blaine. He did a disppearing act for Campbell's goal anyway...................sorry, awful, awful joke. When playing as Barca, always pick Beletti ahead of Oleguer in Pro Evo, regardless of whether or not he's 'on a whitey'. Those that play it will know what I mean.
  3. Has to be 19. The bread and butter and all that.
  4. Like rats from a sinking ship? Maybe not, but it speaks volumes if one of the first names on the team sheet in unhappy. He is a despicable cheat but when playing well he is the player that Emile Heskey should have been. I can't believe I just typed that.
  5. Put Lampard in our team (shudders) and would he be as effective as Gerrard? No. I can't qualify this, but I seriously doubt it. Put Gerrard in the Chelsea midfield (vomits) and would he be as effective? You can bet your left testicle he would.
  6. For a club of Barca's size and history it's a travesty they've only won the European Cup once. Barca all the way for me, but if Arsenal beat them, fuckin fair play. Would be hugely disappointing to no longer be the most recent English European Cup winners. Will it match last years' final? Will it bollocks!
  7. Should be back in the No. 9 shirt if Cisse goes. Although I reckon his best days were the No. 23 shirt I don't think Carra ever wants to swap?
  8. Charlie Nicholas is a bellend of the highest order.
  9. Cheers lad, enjoyed them. When Hamann hits a shot, it fuckin well stays hit. That volley nearly took Sami's head off. Shame Didi has never really found his range consistently for us.
  10. Not strictly a quote or chant but I can't help falling about laughing when I hear the words 'Everton in Europe'.
  11. Puyol reminds me of that dancing robot fitness fanatic from the Simpsons.
  12. Xabi rules. Loved that clip someone posted the other day where he made about 20 crossfield passes, all inch perfect, mostly into space right in front of Nunez. In all seriousness, those who doubt what a good player he is just don't understand football. In his weblog he states that Zidane was full of compliments when they faced each other in Spain. Can praise come from a better modern midfield player?
  13. On this day, 5 years ago at this very moment, I was rather drunk on my way to a certain cup final in a certain Welsh city. What a glorious day that was. Nearly fell out of the stand when that 2nd went in.
  14. Signing of the season, given that he was a relatively 'unknown quantity'. A cup final goal would be fuckin boss for the lad.
  15. Hi all, long term lurker, first time poster. I was only 7 in 1986 and my memory of the day is still pretty clear. All the usual, Molby's second half masterclass, Grobbelaar's save and arguing with Beglin, Rushie's superb control and finish.......... Funniest memory for me though is my brother, who was desperate to get the red home kit. My mum had trawled all the shops and couldn't get it for him anywhere. He was so disappointed. Then, the Thursday before the game we both came home from school and my mum out this sports bag and handed it to him. His face just dropped as he pulled out the Everton top! My poor mum didn't really understand why he was so gutted!
