  1. nobody wants to discuss your hate for Rafa, you sad sad man
  2. Nothing would be better, but I see no proof or hint there that they prefer this option. They would prefer refinancing from another creditor
  3. What Im trying to point out here is that we need to be clear that any refinancing will result in a complete boycott, whatever it takes, even if that means starting from scratch and playing Northampton on a regular basis.
  4. Just from quotes in the media, and I don't remember where I read it. Maybe someone else does? Even if they didn't make it perfectly clear it is safe to assume this is their last resort, and they will not prefer to go down that road as a bank. As someone mentioned RBS will definitely not be able to turn down refinancing if Hicks has one up his sleeve
  5. But RBS have made it perfectly clear they dont want to own the club, they are a bank, they only want their money back. Their easiest way out if refinancing. They get all their money back instantly and don't need to deal with the hazzle of owning a football club. And I don't think the board can stop owners from refinancing.
  6. It's quite obvious Hicks is doing all he can to refinance. And realistically, it is likely he can get some kind of refinancing even though the puppets at the board claim they will oppose. Ultimately Hicks and Gillette own the club and they are likely to have the last say, so let's consider the consequences, which I hope we can make clear to anyone involved in refinancing. 1. What will you be willing to do personally 2. Will there be a complete boycott or will fans continue going the game? It comes down to this: Are enough fans ready to unite in one voice to make it perfectly clear to any financial institution involved that they will lose money on such an investment? Meaning, are we willing to let the club go bust and start all over?
  7. I wouldnt see it as a sacrifice, I would be proud to have made an effort. In fact I'd fly over to get involved in a picket line. Of couse I would be disappointed if 44000 went in to the game, but at least I would be able to live with myself when we go bankrupt. How abt the song, you like that right?
  8. Don't worry about people already having bought tickets to the game. The point of an empty Anfield is that it shows to fuckwits in line to refinance for Hicks that this could be a very risky investment, because the fans are actually capable of boycotting. I would prefer a picket line and empty Anfield, but I support SOS in what they are doing, so this is what I suggest: Do as SOS say and then during the game someone starts the Torres song "We're gonna bounce in a minute" with the words "We're gonna leave in a minute", get up and leave. Not all will leave, but it would be a good start, and we do it again next game, we might get enough momentum to achieve a full boycott after a while. Speaking of fans from abroad (like myself) someone pointed out the big sacrifice it is to have paid 300 pounds ++ and not getting to go. But this is my opinion: It would be a much greater experience to have been part in taking down the Americans. The tourists with kids though should walk in without feeling any guilt. WE'RE GONNA LEAVE IN A MINUTE
  9. I'd take him back in a heartbeat. He built a great team, Alonso, Torres, Mascherano, Sissoko(before the eye injury), Lil Luis, aah good times. Hodgson will never attract that kind of quality, Toivonen,Konchesky, Nevland and Poulsen is the future Im afraid
  10. He followed the rules of OT, last man down, yellow card. No use in sulking though, they deserved the win anyway, but it was clearly a red
  11. We're in the same boat. I'll get 3-4 others to join me as well. I'm just waiting for someone to organize this shit, and it has to be SOS imo and it needs to be done for the Sunderland game. Get in the mood:
  12. Let's get everyone aboard, nobody will lend money to Hicks if they see that the fanbase is capable of emptying the stadium until the club has new owners. Simple message: We boycott all homegames until we have new owners. RBS will also take note. Come on guys, it's going to be too late after he signs the refinancing.
  13. Haven't you seen that they are trying to refinance? We need o act now, not wait until they have refinancing in place, then it will be too late. I agree with the poster of the thread, we need someone to take the lead to organize boycotts etc. SOS is the obvious candidate, but why are they not organizing anything? Puzzles me, anyone close to SoS on here who can shed light on their apparant apathy?
  14. Woy started with Poulsen and Lucas................. They're not good in the air, they're not strong enough, I see no reason to play them against any team really. He should have started with Meireles, ok so he is new and maybe a bit risky or whatever excuse you want to make for the manager. But still, he could have started with Gerrard in midfield together with Poulsen or Lucas, dont really care who and played pacheco, babel or Ngog instead of one of our midfield duo of muppets. Criticism well deserved in my opinion. Expect us to play Torres-Cole-Meireles-Poulsen-Maxi-Gerrard against the mancs, which will be a completely different team going forward. If he sticks to Lucas and Poulsen there is no excuse
  15. Torres was subbed 57 mins, injury?
  16. I've been trying to say this for a year, can someone with time on their hands make a thread on all the forums and get this going pls? Time to ACT
  17. Ended with Rafa? he won us the CL and almost won the league, he brought us the best midfield in the world and the best striker in the world. Pay your respect, he almost succeeded in bringing us back to the top. The owners made sure it will take a miracle to get us back
  18. We need a guerilla group. 1000 men to ring Anfield and refuse anyone entrance. I will fly over for it, SOS where are you?
  19. Barca and Inter are waiting until last day of the transfer window and will come with a bid of £12m. Yanks will accept and pocket the money
  20. Have to say I agree with Red Nick. Dont think he would look out of place in our starting eleven either. We don't play with a great deal of tempo anyway so he should fit right in and is 10 times a more skilled player than Jova for example
