    Diouf

Diouf's onfield behaviour was only half the problem - although big enough of a problem to fuck him off and give him the bad reputation he has. Things like his behaviour in the City Centre weekly - pissed as a fart getting into his car and fighting [Well, trying to] with Liverpool fans. Add to that numerous other unsavoury incidents and supporting Bolton enthusiastically whilst still under contract with us, all add up to give Diouf the deserved reputation as, for want of a better word, a CUNT.
  2. I would go for Joe 'I hope Liverpool get twatted' Royle myself too ... although both are absolutely shite managers. BRUCE FOR UNITED; ROYLE FOR EVERTON !
  3. I'm not very surpised - Jamie was merely passing the question sideways and shirking his responsibility. Symbolic of his time at Anfield really; when he started missing Sunday matches with Gray et al through injury and then retiring with people believing he was a good pundit, it will certainly become a parallel of his Liverpool days!
  4. Pele also named a certain El-Hadji Diouf in his 100 Greatest Players. His World Cup predictions have been equally laughable ... I hope I never need viagra.
  5. Boumsong was actually the better defender when he had a partnership with Phillip Mexes - could actually be argued that he carried him. He was also very close to joining us, and it had all looked in the bag until his agent decided to screw us over for a signing on fee and he moved to Rangers. A close shave as he's just not suited to the Premiership, although personal problems (Wife and kid at home in Paris both sick) have not exactly helped.
  6. Maybe saving energy? It was weird I agree, maybe to just wind down the evening?
  7. Funny as fuck the way he just stands there, even looks like he's laughing at it. Good lad; fuck the dozy bint off, what she's doing near the European Cup Quarter Final draw?
  8. Roma fans seem to be an absolute gang of shitbags from whenever we've played them in my match going life (2001 & 2002); the first trip was a great one, although we only heard reports of it being moody from those who'd stayed the night before; the second one we did a night stay and it was horrible, the twats flying past on Vespa's trying to knife you. In fact the best welcome we got was from Lazio fans who treated us like we were King's the whole time we were there ...
  9. He's a goalscorer and was awesome in his pomp, but I would have to seriously doubt his motives for the move. We need someone up front who is proven at Premiership level and who sees a move to us as a move they're willing to work hard to make a success. Someone who may not do something for eighty nine minutes and then pop up and score; we have Crouch and Morientes who try to do all the donkey work (Or in Morientes case failing to in the main) but no striker like above. Fowler has played in a more Beardsley/Litmanenesque role, in contrast with his early days where goalscoring was his primary game. He could still do a job, but he's not the answer to us needed a goalscorer. Cisse has gained a lot of sympathy of late from Reds to give him a run upfront, and I agree that, with the bit between his teeth Cisse looks a more attractive option than the legthargic Morientes and fading Crouch; but there have been so many times when I've felt like this and Cisse comes on to remind us why he doesn't get near the side. Ronaldo would be an imrpovement certainly, but there's better, hungrier (and not just with pies other wise there'd be no one hungrier than Ronaldo!) strikers around for next season.
