  1. Do I really have to point out that liger is anagram of girl.e, do I? I amazed that this cat, known primarily for health defects and fattness is here. Harry should have pasted it in the last round, the Tiger deinitely will now
  2. He's a better player than anything we've got up front outside of Torres. Would it be unfair of me to add that that wouldn't be hard? 30 odd international goals ain't to be sniffed at, there are many so called weak international teams but you've stilll go to score against em. If he was to come it would have been a few years back not now. Anyhow he's probably not hard working enough for Rafa
  3. Its a well known fact that ligers are man-made aborations, regularly obese, frequently unhealthy and prone to bangers, the hedgehog is a product of evolution. The male liger is also sterile giving it all the killer instinct of Peter Crouch on a mellow day. Young Harry would have that overgrown furball panned out within minutes with a few jinky moves round the back garden. Anyone saying otherwise would clealy need their head examining. Hedgehog in under 3. I like these threads Vote The Hog
  4. i really hope you are right, but even in his so called bad days Ronaldo could control the ball, it was more his end product. i'd be amazed if babel gets anywhere near that level, whether as a striker or winger
  5. to be honest I don't think so, he's unpredictable but so far I've seen mainly awful technique and lack of control. reminds me a little of ronny rosenthal and although ronny did well enough for us, he was far from top class. 11 million on this guy is a huge gamble
  6. Rafa to blame on this, Fabregas doesn't get dropped, Ronaldo doesn't get dropped, Fat Frank doesn't get dropped. Torres gets dropped two weeks in a row. No creativity, no passing no movement. Babel I'm afraid to say is not going to make it, tis no kneejerk, having watched every game so the lad just doesn't have the technique, and no its not something that he'll learn. He's been playing football all his life, if he doesn't have the ability to not keep falling over the ball now he never will. A waste of 11 million, I knoe people slag off rash but he's right on the money about Quaresma or at least someone of that quality, we spunked the cost of a top class winger on Yossi and Babel and it hasn't worked. Fucking livid with this shit. We did the hard part and started the league well, leave the damn team alone Rafa. Let them build some momentum. :telloff:
  7. They'll be like rats off that ship now. And sorry lads, I'm gonig to swallow my pride here and say we get Drogba. With the diving cheating c*nt, I don't think we would be stopped. We don't really have any need for their centre halves or midfielders. Second choice would be Malouda.
  8. Charlton was a poor man's StevieG if you ask me. Another establishment choice
  9. Pele is no more than the Brazillian Bobby Charlton
  10. well i have it on good authority from at least 2 people who saw both play that Maradona was better. its all about opinions lads, no need to get so worked up. for me Pele just didn't have Maradona's power
  11. what's this, the Gary Neville defence?
  12. I've seen plenty of videos of Pele's dribbling and to say it was only marginally less that Maradona's is simply laughable. Any player getting over a hundred goals a season on a regular basis calls into question the strength of that league for me. There is no way he'd have gotten that in the 60's in England. Maradona is the choice of the soccer fan, Pele is the choice of the establishment.
  13. Would pele have scored 127 goals in the 60's in Italy or England? He would in his shit. Not saying he wasn't great but he should have come to Europe at some stage to confirm he was the all time greatest. Diego took the equivalent of Sheffield Wednesday and made them one of the top 3 teams in the world, alongside us and Milan. Diego for me
  14. Lads I think we owe it to this guy to stand by him. He stood up to that bitter bile filled cunt while under contract and demanded his dream move to Anfield. Just think about that. Its driving Ginsoak mad to think anyone would have the balls to actually disobey him. Luckily for him he can count on his spineless cronies in the FA to make some bullshit about their "transfer policy" and about not selling to "rivals", as arbitary terms as you could look for if you ask me, and reject it. I actually felt sorry for Heinze leaving that tribunal yesterday, he's gone out on a limb for us and told demento to go fuck himself and i think its the least we could do to back him.
  15. No offence Pat but that's just about the most wrong thing I've heard in a while. And Carra is a born matchwinner.
  16. I like to compare them to the dublin football team, second most successful side, hyped and loved by the media, in general have a fan base of complete dickheads. uncanny really. as such
  17. poor oul mikey, he just can't stop thinking about england in his. one or two references to newcastle in the months of feburary and march.
  18. what a twonk. engalnd was, is and always will be his primary concern.
  19. I feel our best chance is to draw these cunts in the semi while they're still somewhat concerned by the league. they're in a shit run of form at the moment as well. another sick bucket moment last night was when lampard misplaced his first pass of the night. gay mark says, "take note of the time motty, 15 mins 02 secs, cos that stray pass is a collectors item". about 5 mins later he does the same thing and the fake incredulity continues. "wow two in one game". they pretty much stopped after that as the fat cunt hit a few more wayward ones. the hatred just grows and grows
  20. don't think mcgrath was better than keane and never saw giles and very little of brady. here's a great brady clip though. to be able to do this with one of the old non swerving ball's is nothing short of amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxZMMjRwke4&search=liam%20brady
  21. sky had johhny giles on for a leeds game about 7 or 8 years ago and dumped him after 1 game for critisizing players for not trying and calling someone dishonest. hell would frezze over before dunphy was let on. can you imagine him telling everyone that jose was a bluffer and a tactically inept fraud. way too much of a loose cannon. although i hear his relationship with keane is over
  22. Its a strange one alright. Try this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ireland_national_rugby_union_team I think its basically down to a load of toffs playing the game.I'd say that the majority playing the game back in the late 1800's were probably all middle to upper class protestants and saw the team as being their team rather than of two separate nations from the 1920's. Anyway Rugby is fucking shite. Any game where you kick the ball out of play and its seen as some sort of master stroke is just wrong
  23. Its not just Liverpool he's non commital about, its everything. He'll be just a vapid in a game between say Portsmouth and Villa. ps. Sky also employ Phil Thompson, Frank Mclintock and many opinionated other pundits. Even Andy Gray is for the most past anti-LFC because of his Everton past, which in turn causes him to lean towards Chelsea and United.
