I was outside the players entrance when the galatasary bus arrived and everyone started singing "we won it five times..." to intimidate the players as they stepped off the bus, but when the song faded out, some tossers started singing "who are ya, who are ya!!" :wallbutt: so annoying.

i was talking about sport personality of the year, not team of the year. And that would be because monty is a boring miserable man :whistle:

he won all four games of his ryder cup, some of the others didnt.So why should they get it?and if its anything about personality, he should be up there...did anyone see him on the balcony after the cup was won and about half an hour before the closing ceremony?

its not really a sympathy vote. He is playing in the most popular golf event just two months after the death of his wife. Not only that but he was able to talk about her after his game yesterday. He had to seat and eat diner for the past week with fellow golfers and their wives which cant be easy.

Its called "The Fields of Athenry"...possibly the most popular irish song and its the second anthem.
