  1. Le Pen was a fucking racist - Ribery believes in myths and magic. Either way his bird is absolutely munting.
  2. This fella? Superman for me - although not the Christopher Reeves wheelchair bound one. I can't think of one single occasion when a retard gets poontang and saves the world.
  3. I got shot down for mentioining him previously. He's top class. http://www.liverpoolway.co.uk/forum/gf-general-forum/75581-got-spare-10-minutes.html
  4. Even the "deadly" one did his homework. Moores and Parry were busy polishing their golden egg. http://www.liverpoolway.co.uk/forum/674250-post4.html
  5. These cunts have neither the inclination nor the finance to come good. ALl about protecting themselves and making money.
  6. Shocking post mate. I doubt Karen knows that SOS was set up with the aim of ridding us of the cunts that own us but have since then diversified in order to cover their arses and membership charges. They've been a massive failure in this respect, and going on piss ups whilst the club was rotting makes them the union equivalent of Nero in my opinion. Do you think the great man himself would approve of them?. They've cow towed to the clubs wishes and been too busy abroad to arrange a concerted effort against the owners. I ask you this - is that the socialism of Shankly? He'd be turning in his fucking grave.
  7. No I don't but it gives an idea of the figures we're looking at for them to break even on the deal. So in order for them to be reasonable with their asking price we're looking at a minimum of about £475 - £500 million. That's where we are now. Even their reasonable is extortionate when you add in the stadium..
  8. Thing is though, we need £420 million to clear our debt, or £380 million to bring us down to pre G&H debt levels. The only way they'll sell without making a profit is that the bank takes it out of their hands. Hicks has already shown with Corinthians that he's happy to force bankruptcy rather than cut his losses. I'm pretty sure that we, the fans, have in no way endeared ourselves to him by calling out his constant lies, in fact, I'd even go as far as to suggest that he'd prefer to ruin our club than walk away with £1 million profit. He's got form.
  9. Fair play then mate. I just don't think it's a good idea for 6 year olds to have TV's in their room but I can have no argument to your response apart from that.
  10. TT, Is that Thor or Zeus? SOS need to fuck right off, finally they're interested. They were given this information a while ago and sat on their arses arranging more piss ups. I'd be more than willing to arrange stunts and protests away from SOS, but I want no part of anything that they are involved in. Anyone else interested in exploring some avenues???
  11. Your first sentence unfortunately sums up everything that's wrong. You'd rather a box full of inanity was in your childs room than an instrument or book? Absolutely hilarious. Instead of Piano read Keyboard - everyone has room for a keyboard, yes, even a full size one. Nothing wrong with kids watching TV occasionally but I'm guessing that there will be at least one TV in most houses. We had one. Your argument is a massive fail. There is no need for a 6 year old to have their own TV. What's more worrying is that you seem to associate a childs learning and development with the TV. When you justify a TV as a means of learning it's a slippery slope. Even more hilarious is the fact that you've negged me for promoting learning to 6 year olds. That is quite possibly the best neg I've ever received.
  12. Why the fuck is a 6 year old getting a TV? Why don't you buy him a bookcase and fill it with the classics instead? Not having a go but I despise the easy option of keeping kids out of the way, sticking a DVD on or letting them play video games. It's a shit world out there and the job of parents is to give their kids a head start. Buy him a Piano, guitar or something similar. Rather than him spending hours watching inane TV he could be learning and having fun at the same time. Every weekend my Da would take me to the park with a book about insects, flowers or birds or something and we'd match them up in a sort of treasure hunt type game. I absolutely fucking loved it - and I don't doubt that I'm more interested in learning and knowledge today because of it. books not TV is the way to go. You won't regret it.
  13. Panic over lads, looks like they've come off the piss for 5 minutes to make a statement. Double win - Rogan "directors, directors all stand up" has waded in too. Liverpool FC fan group Spirit of Shankly brand Tom Hicks and George Gillett 'utter failures' Jun 5 2009 By James Pearce ANGRY fans groups today called on Royal Bank of Scotland to sever their ties with Tom Hicks and George Gillett after the full extent of Liverpool’s debts were revealed. The Americans were branded "utter failures" after accounts showed that the co-owners’ parent company, Kop Football (Holdings) Limited, suffered a £41million loss last year. The club’s accountants, KPMG LLP, warned their ownership of the club will be in "significant doubt" should they fail to refinance their £350m debt next month. They have until July 24 to secure a deal and are currently involving in talks with the bank over a six-month extention. Paul Rice, chairman of the leading fans group Spirit of Shankly, said today: "The revelations just underline Hicks and Gillett’s utter failure as owners and the club has not progressed one iota as far as investment is concerned. "Fans should be very concerned with these figures as the Americans have saddled Liverpool with debt which could force the club into administration. "There have been rumours going around about them getting an extension but we urge Royal Bank of Scotland to not refinance the loan and instead seek more responsible and appropriate custodians for Liverpool Football Club. "All an extension would do is deepen the club’s problems. "The owners have clearly been delaying the inevitable in terms of publishing these accounts and I don’t think the scale of the problem is a surprise to anyone." The club posted a record turnover of £159.1m for the year ending July 2008 and a profit of £10.2m. But cash is draining out of the club to service the costs of the parent company’s loans with interest payments accounting for £36.5m of Kop Football’s losses. "Our club is going nowhere with Hicks and Gillett in charge and we need them out," Rice added. "They have been extremely lucky over the past season as relative success on the field has taken the edge off demands for them to go but this reinforces what we have known all along. "Until they are gone this vicious circle of putting the club into massive debt and using profits to make huge interest paytments will continue." Rogan Taylor of Share Liverpool FC – a fans led group looking to buy control of the club, said: "The figures are hardly a surprise and it is precisely what we have been describing. The levels of financial incompetence is just unbelievable. "In this whole scenario they have just been making noises. They are talking about restructuring the debt which will incur another very large fee, add on the interest and the capital and it is all going south. "If you look back at the records, we were prediciting 18 months ago they would be running £40m in the red., the business is no longer viable - let’s get them out. "Football has been a distraction to some degree, but now there is no football people are begining to focus on it. "Two years ago we were carrying a modest amount of debt and were easily able to service it but two years later we are all over the place because these guys do not use their own money." Meanwhile, sources in London claim all interest in the middle-east in buying Liverpool, including from Dubai and Kuwait, has now dried up. 14. I wouldn't be surprised if a huge part of that mysterious £58 million is some or all of the £40 million those cunts have supposed to have put into the club over the last year.
  15. has Thurman got an alibi? She'd be the first person I'd check.
  16. There is a strong tradition of love and hate on these boards. Just seems like every day is like Sunday during the transfer window and come September 1st (or 3/4/5th for Arsenal), feels like this is the end and I'm ready to shout hallelujah.
