  1. The secret of Brazilian footy is finally out of the bag http://www.skysports.com/skysports/article/0,,1-1206120,00.html
  2. How much time and space was Alonso given to spray his passes around. Good to see such a great performance and Rafa got it spot on by taking Hyypia and Gerrard off with the game effectively won.
  3. So Simao can repay some of the transfer fee by giving us the inside track on how to beat them? Their new stadium looked class tonight - probably had something to do with all those fans cheering as Utd went out. Real would be the real glamour tie - it'd be sweet to knock the back stabbing whiteshite out. Kick em while they're down.
  4. You've got to blame it on Fergie's tactics. They've still got more than enough quality to be qualifying from such a piss easy group as that.
  5. You've got to blame it on Fergie's tactics. They've still got more than enough quality to be qualifying from such a piss easy group as that. - fuck me, posted this in the wrong thread. I stick by my statement anyway, you've got to blame everything on Fergie! O_o
  6. The same site links us with Vincent Kompany who's been excellent on the two occasions I've seen him play. Shame he didn't get a chance to show what he could do when we played Anderlecht this season.
  7. Ha, ha Beni. Not all of us have press privileges to get our flags in!!! You know the key to our excellent performance yesterday was the absence of our brainless wonder boy Sissoko. I don't know mate, if you look back on the thread people used Keane and Viera to prove their point about 'that type' of player, you try and expand using the same players and people say 'for fucks sake' he's only 20 you can't compare them. Some double standards knocking around.
  8. That's the only thing he could possibly be thinking of - evening things up. He had a word with Sami straight away and was pointing to something that happened at the Anfield Road end but I certainly can't remember anything of note. Luckily it didn't effect the game. Sami was a rock today.
  9. Rafa reckon's he's one of the best passes in the world but I'm struggling to think of anyone else who is actually better. For me he's the number one in that department. His accuracy is undeniable and the fact that he settled straight into the pace of the league is a testament to him. A class act.
  10. Hey Dave, watch how many s's you put in embarrassment, people might start thinking you're a blue  Looks like I'm off to get my half season ticket for Goodison if I can fight my way through the crowds.
  11. Another 2-0 win for the reds and a vital lesson learned by Paul Jewell in preparation for him taking over the Anfield hot seat when Rafa vacates.
  12. Christ, I reckon I've stumbled across the LFC and Sissoko Fanzine and Website. When you've all finished passing around the communal rose-tinted specs you'll soon come around to my way of thinking. Were you all this fanatical about Diao when he first signed too?
  13. Havin a laugh aren't you - it's the blues who will be laughing at us because Sissoko will be even less successful than that other great player we stole from under their noses - Stan Collymore. I can see potential in the lad, it's clear for everyone to see. He's potentially a waste of £5m and that's about it!
  14. I'd fully accept a sending off every now and again if Momo could control a game in the way Keane and Viera did. It's something you could live with but when his only real contribution is running around annoying everyone then it becomes a different matter. He's not fit to tie the shoelaces of those two.
  15. To be fair to the ankle breaking, cockney fat boy, he deserved to be placed above Gerrard this time around. I think he's got the edge on him as a central midfielder but not as a player. When was the last time you saw Lampard playing right wing, right back etc? As an all-round player I think Gerrard can claim to be top dog.
  16. Point taken, but I was struggling to come up with another player who runs around so pointlessly for 90 minutes. Oh sorry, however many minutes he's on the pitch before he gets his marching orders.
  17. The praise that comes Sissoko's way baffles me. He is Diao only fitter. He covers a lot of ground but then again so did Danny Cadamarteri. He can't pass, doesn't look like a goal threat and is reckless when tackling. I hope he proves me wrong but I can't see him becoming a regular starter for us.
