  1. If you do, then I have to make a decision. I have been quoted £194 for a Gigabyte GA 970 UD3 motherboard with an AMD Bulldozer fx 4100 processor. I have also been quoted £159 for a gigabyte Ma770T-UD3 motherboard with an AMD Phenom 850 quad core. Which is the better deal? I haven't been keeping up to date with current processing and motherboard technologies. If there is a better idea out there as well, then please, I'm all ears.
  2. So yeah, all this would mean is we would pay the same amount for Sky to show the same games as they do in the UK and the 3pm games in the other EU countries will just not be sold any more. If they do offer the 3pm games, then they'll get the exact same package as we do on offer to bid for, and the whole of Europe will probably have to subscribe to not only Sky Sports, but ESPN, Canal+, RTE, Kanal, Etc etc all separately. It'd be like the situation in the NFL where you have 5 major distributors around the continent, being allocated games centrally via the league on a week by week basis. Maybe there will be more football on TV locally, but it'll come at an expense. In a nutshell, the prices will go up for everyone, matchgoers and TV fans alike, and the PL will make even more money.
  3. So an attacking player can be told time and time again the things he has to work on in training by the manager, he can then show that he is doing these things in training and in reserve matches. Good, you say. Pity the reserve league is shit. So what else you reckon we should do? Put him in the first team to let him continue to learn in full media spotlight, ahead of senior players in games we must win? Send him on loan to a mid table, or lower half of the premier league side? One that will put 10 men behind the ball and get a spanking every other week I might add. Quite how this will facilitate his development in attacking when he will just be sitting there getting hammered every week. Or, option 3, put him in an attacking side, in a league where there is all the crowds, attendances and expectation of the premier league, but outside of the media spotlight that the premier league is. He won't be 10 men behind the ball, he's with a team that has a nice attacking philosophy and a team that will win more than most, aiding his development on the things he has been told to work on by Kenny. You have to think when you have a player going on loan of the reason why he's going and what he's going into. A loan move to a shitehouse mid/lower table premier team like Stoke for Shelvey would be shit, because they don't play the type of football a player like him would thrive in. They don't play the sort of football Kenny would have him playing when he comes back, Blackpool do play this way and they play in a competitive league which is much better than playing with the reserves, against, and with players who are not ready for first team football, discarded or just returning from injuries.
  4. But, but, I just read a comment that the owners have spent nothing. Zero, zilch, nada. I don't know whether I should be happy or outraged at this obvious pisstake from the owners who are putting nothing in the club. Somebody help me!
  5. Cocksticks, I think I am working on that day as well, and - as I pretty much work next door to the stadium you all are gonna piss me off by blocking my way out aint you?
  6. Number 16? Hopefully we can change that to number 4 now Raul has gone and he will be set to be a legend.
  7. This sucks, mainly because when Parliament was called back into session, the MPs all got reimbursed for cutting their holidays short.
  8. So where does this stop? Anyone found knowing someone in a riot gets refused NHS treatment? Anyone found knowing someone in a riot loses all rights to things like Legal Aid? Anyone found knowing someone in a riot can no longer use a road? What do we do with these people they have evicted? Even if they didn't know about the looting? Where have they gone now? Who will pay for their re-homing? Who is paying for all these hundreds of people who are going to jail and which jail are they going to considering they are all full? Did the Government really think this through, or is it the same old half baked policy that panders to public opinion and either a: Doesn't work or b: is counter productive?
  9. We are only 1 point ahead of the bottom placed team. We only have 9 months left of the season. Its a travesty!
  10. OMG, he hasn't scored 9 goals yet this season? He is obviously a sulking bandit. Fuck him off to Scunthorpe and we should go and sign Bent. He's prolific!
  11. I have a better idea. We should up and move the whole club in our brand new spanking 500,000 seater stadium to the sunny land of the Isle of Wight. I hear they don't have a team there and there is plenty of room for expansion if our Oligarch can buy the whole island from the UK Government. We can relocate them all to the newly promised Goodison Plaza, which can be built after Goodison Park is knocked down thanks to us generously giving Everton Anfield, for free. So I wouldn't worry about it, friends. Unless all of this happens, we will never be the force we once were. We need to make it happen. We need to put pressure on the board to make all this work within the next two weeks, or there is a wasted opportunity!
  12. We still have time, friends. We have 2 weeks of the transfer window left. We still have time to get rid of Kenny, he's had his chance, and the owners as well, before the transfer deadline. We still need to get 11 key players in, sell Suarez for being the shittest penalty taker on the planet, sell Reina for such an obvious fuck up for their goal and sell Carroll because quite clearly he is out of his depth. We need a new midfield, so I suggest we put in a bid for Mata and <insert another flavour of the month young foreign player here> and get Pepe Guardiola/Mourinho/O'Neill in charge once our new Arabian prince/billionaire Russian owners who are not here to launder money have taken control of our club. Also we need shot of our entire backroom staff, especially Phyllis the dinner lady. It's her fault we are not 23 points clear at the top of the league after one game. While we are at it, we should also redevelop Anfield, making our capacity 200,999 and we should do it tomorrow.
  13. Lies! Lies and deceit! No one ever, ever misses a pen that is good and if he ever does then he should never take one again and we should all jump to the conclusion that he's shit.
  14. Thats us that is. To a tee. Sack everyone, disband the club! Replace everyone with the under 15 team!
  15. Blizzard's new MMO is a completely different IP which is codenamed at the moment Titan. Most of the original WoW development team are on it. Cataclysm has been made with a new team (the same team that took over half way through Wrath of the Lich King) and was designed to make it more friendly for casuals while at least being slightly challenging. Other than the codename Titan, no one knows anything about the other MMO they are making, which, by assumption will be out near the end of WoW. Which I imagine after the shedding of subscribers they currently have, will only last another expansion, maybe 2. Which is about 3 years at most.
  16. Good point, had politicians advocating curfew and closure of social networking sites and blackberry messenger last night on the radio. This will be the avenue they will probably go down, true.
  17. Nothing substantial will come from the government though. All that will happen in their "get tough" stance will be a few people will get big prison sentences and there will be a focus group set up to see why this happened. They'll get the wrong sort of people involved, it'll be pointless and ultimately, it'll be blamed on 13 years of labour government. Nothing tangible or permanent, like national service, a big program of youth centres, or school discipline or anything that will give discipline to the young adults/kids growing up will ever come into force. This country is crying out to give the disadvantaged some sort of program that will give them responsibility and discipline but it'll never happen as it'll be "too expensive"
  18. They update articles on the website all the time. Instead of making a new article, they just update it with more information. Maybe the article is saying 12.35pm because that is the last time it was updated with more information or new wording. There is so much happening so quickly and a lot of stuff is happening where no reporters are. It is too much to expect them to get every bit of pertinent information as soon as it happens. I too was awake at 7 this morning and 5live were running it on the radio as one of their major headlines during the breakfast bulletin as far as I could hear in my slumber.
  19. Maybe, just maybe, no one heard anything about it till this morning?
  20. That story was on the BBC homepage for most of the morning, until more breaking news happened and Cameron started talking.
  21. These are same parents who were due to go in employment at the time she fucked them. Some of those parents have gone through their lives never working. They never learned about discipline or responsibility because of this, or the fact they have probably come from a broken home due to the amount of families that were destroyed because of the circumstances. This sets the example for their kids, who are currently doing all of this destruction. Obviously, not all of the people who are currently late 30s/early 40s and had to endure Thatcher's reign as young adults ended up letting their kids grow up to be complete fucking mongs and did a great job in the circumstances, but a few it seems didn't even learn the basics of responsibility or discipline and passed this on to their kids.
  22. How is it talking shite? The woman has created a legacy of selfish entitlement and created a situation where the social lower class had zero future and no self worth, but at the same time repeatedly told anyone who would listen they can have anything they want in life. A generation later, we have this. A riot based on the lower class without any prospects showing us all they can take what they want.
  23. Well, religion has been declining at an alarming rate since the late 70s as well. Maybe there is something in that too. Point is, the kids who were growing up and/or becoming young adults under her, had zero prospects in their lives due to what she did. They are the same people who spawned the current breed of chavs, and taught them to have zero respect or consequences of their actions because that's what they learned during their formative years due to their broken homes and getting fucked over by that woman. There isn't a coincidence that the chavs are at the moment rioting across the country in the same areas she fucked over.
