Yep … we were walking from the Ship and Mitre to the Baltic fleet into the evening when we ran into Brighton fans who were singing « Two nil, You fucked up two nil … ». They looked like sound lads so we started chatting. They obviously enjoyed the game and the atmosphere. They were amazed by the reception Lallana got. As far as I’m concerned I was more amazed by the choice of ales at the Ship and Mitre.

Dave Appadoo who writes in France Football and often appears on L’Equipe TV is a big Liverpool supporter. He used to be a member of the French Branch of Liverpool supporters. As he’s quite well known now, he always adopts a low-profile when Liverpool is the issue on air. A great pro and if you don’t know him, you can’t tell he’s a red.

AM is a very good team, skillful players and a strong identity. A shame their manager is a negative shithouse. They did very well with one man down, for a while they even dictated the tempo. Virgil isn’t good right now but he has to play to find back his level. We won but that was not pretty.

I agree we are very fragile and vulnerable at the moment. We are easy to score against. VVD is part of the issue. Griezmann did well but that was way too easy. But Virgil has to play on so he can improve. He really needs playing. That was a strange game, we were in total control until their first goal and then it seems we mentally collapse. It’s too soon to be pessimistic, we have time to fix the issues, but we can’t deny we have issues.

Griezmann would be a perfect fit for us.
