I kind of suspect the same. Lovren and Karius have shown inprovement since VVD came in. And whilst i do believe his presence calms the whole defensive unit down Lovren and Karius has the calamity in them and replacing them with top quality would really push us on.

I dont think a certain system will come along and make others obsolete. Think it will be player development that will be the difference making. Managers utilising specific strengths of players and getting the most out of them and tweak systems around that rather than have players doing strict systems.

I agree, only thing i didnt really consider was, the fucker is born in 1990. Only 27, but other similar options like Zaha, Bailey, Pulisic are younger. Still could we get Costa i'd love it. Think he is quality and would really thrive under Klopp.

Disagree completely. And reportedly he was our second choice last summer had we not got Salah. Anyhow, does anyone know the situation with him and Bayern/Juve? Is the deal already done or is it pending other interest? Imo Bayern are mental to let him go.

If De Bruyne wins it, its well deserved. He has been the best player, by far, in the best side in the league. Having said that Salah deserves it too, simply amazing this season.
