  1. Another Umbro ad, where a girl is coming down the stairs and sees the back of her fella on the couch looking like he's knocking one out. She goes mad and storms off. But when the camera pans to the front he is pumping up a footy between his legs.
  2. Sorry fellas It wasn't really a political point I was trying to make but more to do with the pointlessness of using a weapon like that and the effects it can have. I spent time in the military working with short range tactical nuclear weapons and the devestating after effects on the population they can have (should any of them survive) and the problems that can lead on for generations. I can't argue with the point about the japanese and the war and the state of the middle east and russia now, but i am more an advocate of carpet bombing if that is what you need to meet an end. As strange as that may sound i would rather have short term devastation than years of cancer and other radiation related diseases. In my current job I work quite regularly with some of the kids from Chernobyl, I know that event wasn't a nuclear weapon but it breaks my heart to see the effect that radiation can have on the innocent. All wars affect the innocent and someone has to die somewhere for it to end. But it's like twatting the cat with a baseball bat when it's on it's last legs rather than nipping into the vets for the needle.
  3. He was that shit the bitters decided to let him find a new club and he couldn't find one for ages, however they still had to pay his 27 grand a week wages. In the end they had to pay up his contract for him to leave. Twats
  4. As we wake tomorrow, how many of us will think of the horrendous events of 62 years ago. How more safely do we sleep knowing the only nation ever to have used the atomic bomb, to have vapourised civilians in their beds, now strides the globe, destroying lives, cities, and countries; spreading the western ideal of freedom. You know, that for which we are hated. And what of the only nuclear military power in the middle east? Who fed the lies leading to the Iraq war and is cheerleading for the invasion of Iran, whose children will be sacrificed on the alter of the great military industrial, money making project. No more
  5. Hear Hear, someone how actually sees and says it like it is, the lad can't do right from wrong in some peoples eyes. It was a bit of a bitch slap though.
  6. Bjorn Tore Kvarme was pretty shite and made Danny Cadamartei look like Marco van Basten, Oyvind Leonhardsen joins the illustrious club of poo and going back a few years Frank McGarvey who was so shit never played a game and went back to Celtic after 1 year, I can speak from experience as I saw him play in the reserves.
  7. Another player who deserves a mention is Pepe Reina, he looked a lot more solid last season and kept us in games with some crucial saves. I think we underestimate at times how good he is.
  8. See they make me so mad I posted the same reply twice. Bastards. :(
  9. CharleyKnight - Don't get me started on those cunts, I think i would push you very close, it's only in the last 11 years that i realised how much i despise them. It all comes from living away when i left school and Man Utd supporters where the only arseholes that i really came into contact with, Chelsea meant fook all at the time. But since moving back up to liverpool i have had to work with some of the most bitter and twisted bastards i have ever met in my life. Some of the vitriol and personal attacks with regards to LFC that i have had to suffer is beyond all comprehension. Like some of you i constantly get bombarded with the murderers comments but sometimes it becomes personal as though it was me that caused Evertons demise in Europe and the World, and i have lost good friends over this, it comes to something when football rivalry comes between workmates, but i make no apologies for this I will defend LFC til the day I die. I refuse to have any of their matches on the radio or telly and that includes derby matches, i haven't been to a derby match at woodison since 95 and would refuse to set foot in the place even if we played in the CL final there (Fat fuckin chance). I won't drive my wife to work past the place and even ask taxi drivers to make a detour away from it. I have even asked for a blue plate to be changed in a restaurant. It pains me to even write about them and the worst day of my life was the day Wimbledon let them off the hook. I need to go and lie down before my head explodes and i kill the cats. Sorry if some of those above things seem sad but that is just the way some small minded wankers have made me.
  10. I can't look at red tube without cracking one off. Is there something wrong with me?
  11. Cheers mukka got the 11-2 at hills in kirkby
  12. Saw LFC at 11-2 for the title. Put on 20 quid. Here's hoping.
  13. I apologise, may i rephrase? World beater as compared to the player i saw at city.
  14. Watched Rangers vs Inverness CT today and one thing that stood out was that Damarcus Beasley who was on loan at Man City last season, looked like an absolute world beater. Why is it that in recent times some players (not all I hasten to add) who didn't particularly stand out in the premiership and in this I include: Stanislav Varga, Barry Ferguson, Alex Rae, John Hartson, Paul Telfer, Alan Thompson, Jiri Jarosik etc Go up there or back up there to, lets be honest, a second rate league and suddenly look like fookin Pele. Probably the standard of the opponents has something to do with it but there must be something as yet unexplained. And to those supporters of Rangers and Celtic who peddle the same old story about recent european games, they are one offs and i would like to see them do it over 38 league games with their shit squads. Thoughts please
  15. I agree about him being one of our greatest signings and was probably as delighted as anyone the day he took over. However that shouldn't cloud over and take away the fact that he laughed in the faces of so many good and honest people all for the sake of a bit of blood money and sympathy. Also he almost destroyed the tradition of this club and everything it stands for i.e. Dismantling the Bootroom and signings like Dicks and Ruddock, those things almost irreversably destroyed us. Supporting LFC should be like a good marriage (Yes there are some of us left who have one) supporting each other through good times and bad, being there for each other no matter what, however there's always that slag who took you for everything you had when you where younger and just you didn't see it coming, for me thats him.
  16. Chesterfield 4-4, Peterborough 1-0, Bristol City 1-0, Bolton 2-0. The common theme? The man whose name shall never be mentioned in my house, who sold his soul, and should be ashamed every time he looks at himself in the mirror. The man who ripped the heart out of this great club that has only just started to beat again. A man for me whose legendary status died the day he insulted the memory of the 96 and it's him that shouldn't piss me off any more. They say time is a great healer not for this cunt it isn't. Oh and any derby game where the bastard of barlinnie scored and the faces of the turd chomping, knob scoffing, jizz slurping, bile spewing pricks that cheered him.
  17. Some people on here need to remeber the saying you don't know what you've got until it's gone. I don't agree with some of the things that the lad has done or said but there's no denying that he is an absolute diamond. In the 28 years i have been supporting LFC and going to the match, i think it's fair to say that he is up there with some of the best players we have had, in terms of attitude and influence. I don't agree with the addage that he doesn't seem to try as hard when he is out on the right. To me, he gives everything when he plays and i do think he is allowed the odd dip in games. But saying that i do think that when he is in the middle we definately play better. If some of the other players followed his attitude then we wouldn't be struggling against some of the shite teams of the last few seasons. Enjoy him while he is here because he will take some replacing.
  18. I can't believe no-one has mentioned this fella: PAUL STEWART :wallbutt: £2.3m for a cunt of cuntastic proportions.
  19. That's the fella, signed for £800,000 only made a total of 8 appearances, wasn't one of kennys better decisions. The following quote by kenny sums it up really "Jimmy Carter had everything: good technique, he could dribble, get past people, whip in crosses. Jimmy could have been a tremendous asset. The mental side was his problem. Maybe Liverpool was too big for him."
  20. And while i'm on the subject Nick Tanner springs to mind. With regards to other teams - Andrea Silenzi (Forest) and Marco Boogers (West Ham) were both pants.
