I resisted any urge I had to post yesterday as I dont like posting when my mind is clouded in frustration. It was a highly frustrating game and we were second best for large parts of it. Some of the signings are not performing to the expected level and the 442 with charlie and lucas can leave us horribly exposed at times. We are not controlling these games as much as we should and are paying the price for it. I think Kenny should look to change things up a bit in terms of players used and the structure. I for one would like to see jay spearing feature a bit more in the middle and for the likes of bellamy and maxi get the nod. For those who are pulling their hair out even more than I am I do think some perspective is needed. We are not having a disastrous start by any stretch of the imagination. We´ve dropped some very bad points this season but have performed badly in I would say two games. We have bedded in a lot of new players and things cant always run smoothly. The big problem this year is that all the top sides are picking up points much more regularly than they have done in the last few seasons. The league now boasts 5 other sides apart from ourselves who will be challenging on all fronts, I believe any of these sides could emerge as title challengers as well as obviously being in the mix for the cl places. This is a totally new phenomenon in the league. All of these teams have been better than we have for the past two or more seasons so maybe to expect to leapfrog them automatically is naive. Yes we are Liverpool and yes we should expect the very best but we need to take it with a dose of reality. The reality is that we will be challenging for europe this year, whether that will be cl or uefa we will find out over the course of the next 6 months. We will see over that time and beyond if Kenny is indeed the man to lead us back to where we feel we belong but the man deserves and warrants a bit of patience from the SUPPORTERS of his football club. Yesterday was a bitterly disappointing day for all of us but the season is long and we have plenty of room for improvement. I have every confidence that if not this year we will certainly be in a position to push on and make steady inroads at the top of the table over the coming seasons. Come on you redmen!

true of course but they are looking down on us because they won some of those bankers they´ve had. don´t get me wrong i fully expect to see a very different story come the new year.

who gives a fcuk what he says, look at him! seriously though people it´s going to be a fight to get top four and we are by no means guaranteed. if spurs manage to keep a few key players fit they´ll be right up there, i havent watched arsenal recently so cant judge them but they were always going to find form at some point over the season. it´s gonna be tight as and the head to heads are going to be very important providing we get our act together in fornt of goal.
