Fucking awful.... Motson is just THE worst commentator on television by a long way. He's always fucking up his 'intereshting facsh', never gets a player's name right and raves about the 'big names' even when they're blatantly playing like a bag of arse. It makes me angry to listen to him, and to make it worse they even show his face from time to time. Thank God that BBC have got the other audio available... now we just need ITV to do the same because David Pleat annoys me almost as much as Lawrenson.

Actually, I quite pleased that Cisse is staying. This guy has massive potential and if he realises that while in a Liverpool shirt then that's great for us. He was getting better and better, and I can honestly see him being a top striker. Not right winger, STRIKER. The glass is half full. Well 3/4's I reckon!

Personally, no I would not.... but then I'm not the manager and if Rafa thinks he's worth it then I wouldn't argue. If you cast your mind back to last summer, would you have paid 7m for Crouch? The point being that all things considered, 12m for a proven goalscorer seems a good deal, especially as Palace have just turned down 8m for Johnson, saying they think he's worth 12! I think I speak for all of us when I say that IF Owen came back, we'd support him and we'd trust that Rafa has made the right decision (he hasn't let us down often right?!), but it's fair to have an opinion and express it on a public forum. Owen is not a club footballer, his footballing ambition lies with England and his financial ambition lies with who'll pay the most. He's not a mercinary exactly, but yes, his priority is himself. It's modern football, and there are very few pro's who have commitment to a club. We're lucky we've got a few of them! Mind you, he can't half stick a ball in the back of the net now and again!!
