  1. What's this business about the some of the accounting periods being the same on both charges for Everton, i.e. that they've already been punished for that period? Surely they have a point with that, or is there more to it?
  2. And you'll never get a sensible answer from them because the only possible reason they could have for thinking it would be cos "der Redshite" want them gone. But admitting that would mean admitting we're a fucking massive club who could have such enormous levels of influence over the PL and beyond. But they could never, ever admit to that. It's a subconscious thing with them and it's driving them mad.
  3. I couldn't believe my eyes. I don't think the Premier League has ever seen a match where one side gives up possession so willingly as Newcastle did in that second half tonight. It was such a strange sight.
  4. Is that in the 90 minutes? If so fucking hell, it must have been 90% plus in the second half.
  5. Second half possession stats would be interesting, seemed about 20/80 at best for Newcastle.
  6. Yeah disgraceful second half from Newcastle, never seen a more inevitable goal. They literally let them have the ball and seemed to welcome every attack. Howe is probably overdue the sack and if I was a Newcastle fan I'd be fuming with him tonight especially.
  7. Don't diss the Crunchie Bits bar, it's about the only Cadbury's chocolate worth eating these days, lovely stuff.
  8. I have to say he'll always get criticism, it is written, but Darwin works his fucking arse off. Fair fucks to him.
  9. We're half arsed. Can't blame us, I'd have played the kids but Jurgen wouldn't be "allowed" to, which I understand.
  10. Yeah the fuss today is ridiculous. You can guarantee if there had been 10 matches last night instead of 1 we'd have seen worse decisions made. It's a harsh red, but if you go sliding into a challenge with studs up, based on the laws of the game and irrespective of contact, you're always risking a red card.
  11. I'll be shocked if he doesn't leave in the summer. We might even get more for him than we would have last summer as I think the Saudi's will want him to be their statement signing next time round. Hopefully he can have an amazing last few months with us on his return from the Afcon, he and we deserve it.
  12. That's the thing. Much as I now hate VAR, more to the point their use of it, the idea of ever going back to no reviews and even less accountability is frightening. They would be even further emboldened in their bias/corruption.
  13. Nice listen again, thanks fellas. Deffo agree on the pundits creating the narrative regarding our [clear] penalties. I also think there was a more sinister edge to it last night from Neville in that he was trying to put doubt there for the remainder of the season, anything that might affect decisions for us even a tiny bit, he'd have no qualms setting that agenda I'm sure.
  14. I think Jota probably does exaggerate the fall, call it a dive if you like. But so what? He was clearly fouled and it was a clear pen, and these days we constantly hear that players are entitled to go down if there's contact (never mind contact which the attacker has initiated, clearly not the case here). Does this unwritten "rule" (and it's shrugs of acceptance indeed in some cases applauded) not apply to Liverpool players? Funny that, another one of those different rules we seem to have to play by.
  15. In Mo's absence I'd be tempted to play Nunez on the left and Diaz on the right, see how that goes. No doubt Klopp has a few combinations in mind. Excited to see us without Mo, hopefully it goes well.
  16. Can't help but think Neville is trying to get a narrative going about us and penalties. Anything that could derail us in the second half of the season, even slightly, he'll take.
  17. Because, Diaz aside, we can't fucking finish. Mo shite form yes but even in his best form can't be relied on to score a penalty. Golden boy fucking up with a gilt edge chance again, twatting instead of placing, and Nunez fuck me Heskey was a better finisher.
  18. Trent, can't finish an easy chance but can twat one in very very occasionally.
  19. Salah has been generally poor (with occasional great moments) since he returned from the previous Afcon. I'm hoping this forthcoming one will have the opposite effect.
  20. He's an absolute disgrace. Tried to justify his "dive" comment instead of just admitting he was wrong.
  21. For those Man Utd supporters looking on the bright side Ratcliffe is an old man, and boyhood Man Utd fan, looking to be the person who turns Man Utd around. Basically that he's in it for the glory not the money. They could be right, time will tell.
  22. He shouldn't have fucking been there the tit (I like the lad but he's really pissing me off at the moment). His presence confused matters, Salah already had two clear options, Trent then gets too close to the action and creates a problem for Salah, I think because he wanted personal glory. Yes bust a gut to make up the ground, but hang back a bit to give Arsenal something else to think about and maybe pick up a second ball, but instead stead he went into the same space the others occupied so he could be the centre of attention. A bit like when he inserts himself into midfield. Much as Trent is pissing me off I do realise Jürgen is as much at fault. Still angry about it this morning, an horrific, embarrassing miss under the circumstances.
  23. Salah is so shit at the moment he probably would have missed any given penalty anyway.
