PODCAST: Liverpool 2 Leicester City 1 - Match Reaction

It was far from convincing but it's three more points. The Reds gave away yet another early goal and needed a helping hand from Leicester defender Wout Faes who chipped in with two own goals to secure the points for Kloppo's boys.

 

TLW Editor Dave Usher is joined by Ian Brown and Stu Montagu to look back on a disappointing and somewhat worrying display in which the midfield was again a big problem and the forwards were profligate once more.

 

The lads also discuss the potential impact Cody Gakpo can make and speculate on what else might happen in this transfer window.

People who are comparing Nunez to Suarez & Lewandowski, I’d like to throw peak Salomon Rondon into the ring. Absolutely unplayable at times but his scoring record was unbelievable average. Darwin just needs to work on his hold up play and he might just get there.

I think our entire squad is shit at shooting. Who trains them fucking Captain Phasma. Even Salah needs 3 million chances to hit the target. Get the throwing coach throw him in the bin and employ someone to teach these top flight professional players how to strike a ball because I've seen toddlers with more composure and skill at booting the ball.
