  1. One thing I find about the pick of Lawrie and Hanson is almost an acknowledgement that yes these are our two weakest players and we'll get them out there on the first four ball as a punt, if they lose, that's one point lost but two weak players out of the way. I can't help but feel both players will sense this. I sincerely doubt that either of the pair will be out for the morning or evening session tomorrow.
  2. Watching another one of Comolli's woeful targets Marveaux tonight. What a terrible signing for Newcastle, we really dodged a bullet there. Everton play nice football.
  3. What's really sad is that no player that no player that we got rid of this summer would make a difference to this team.
  4. Can we have our £80million back for Andy, Jordan, Stewart and Jose please, we need to invest some if it into current first team... What's out on the field is worse than what was togging out for Rafa's carling cup teams back in the day.
  5. Please God no! I'm not even considering his medal stealing or any other bull he has come out with but he is simply a woeful player, selfish, little, injury prone - just don't
  6. On a positive note it is heartening to see Suarez taking a leaf out of our captain's book and throwing his arms in the air in annoyance while pointing his back to the ball after he cheaply gives it away. BR has some monumental job on his hands.
  7. My favourite thing is what Sky Sports analysts consider to be 'unplayable'. Have I gone through some vortex where the game of football is a contest of 2 oversized lugs leaping to see which one can get some contact on a hoofed football? Where every other single facet of the game is irrelevant? To be fair I'm being unkind to Andy, I've heard that once in a blue moon when he's given a couple of minutes to turn and a dozen yards of space in front of him he can unleash some belt of a shot with his cannon left peg.
  8. Looked like the exact same Carroll that we saw at Liverpool all last season. Slow, unable to find space for himself in the box, limited technique, but decent at deflecting balls that are hung up in the air.
  9. Looking at those freaks down at Loftus road buying a full dozen bloody mercenaries makes me glad that we aren't just willy nilly firing pounds around on deadline day looking for some " cheap deals" from the bargain basket. If self sustainability is our goal then that near £6m quid plus the wages will be available for us in later transfer windows and we can make sure we do not waste it like we did we did in the last incredibly incompetent and embarrassing windows. Do we forget that we have a £20m trainee left back and £18m 6th choice midfielder at our club, as well as £6m a year winger who we can't dump out on a loan deal. Kenny and Comolli, it couldn't possibly have been anymore shambolic.
  10. They even went and sold fan favourite Daniel Agger to our direct rivals, fucking pricks :notamused:
  11. Guess this just means we'll have to give our young lads some more game time then. I'm glad, lean squad but with lots of talented youngsters ready to step in. No more stop gap dross or never going to be good enoughers here anymore.
  12. Thank god we picked someone like Rogers as our new manager, finally the likes of Shelvey and Adam will be thought to respect the ball although they still haven't learned on the evidence of tonight. Continuous waste of possession with ridiculous through ball attempts, pointless diagonals and general sloppy passing. Hopefully in time even those two will manage to restrain themselves. Thumbs up to Carra it must be said, at times it was almost comical watching him trying to retain possession in sticky situations around the back but he really lead by example.
