Looking likely that Harry will be gone from Spurs tomorrow I'm fucking made up, this will cock them up big time, its classic Tottenham thinking they're some super club They wanted Rodgers which makes you think is this why we went for him now? They dont want Moyes apparently which is a but gutting but they'll appoint someone who'll be shit its a nap and thats good news for us Levy wont sanction wages over 70k which is winding arry up cos he thinks sould they raise it they could make a big challenge Bale will be off so will Modric

I'm not sure if I even want to watch this. I will though, obviously. We have an opportunity to wipe out their top four dreams if they fail to win. It's out of their hands anyway but it would be nice to be the ones to drive the final nail home. We also need a home win to close the gap on the bitters and not least to restore some pride following an utterly abysmal few weeks. I expect starts from the usual fucking clowns and if we scrape a draw I'll be surprised.

Let me start by saying that Kenny Dalglish is not immune to criticism. Like anyone in life, he should be held to account in terms of how he does his job. However, there are three things that I find unacceptable about the criticisms of him some Reds are expressing right now: Firstly, his track record as a manager demands respect. He has won the title four times with two different clubs. That is a huge achievement which doesn't get a mention but is highly relevant to any debate about his worth as a manager. His success at Liverpool can't be written off for coming on the back of someone else's team building (a ridiculous argument that totally misses the point about the nature of leadership anyway, in my view) because he then went and built another title-winning team at Blackburn, bringing it up from the division below in the process. The second thing that people seem to have no recognition of is the scale of change undertaken at the club and how such change will inevitably be rocky. It is simply impossible to implement a revolution (which is what we've seen with the number of players brought in and moved on in such a short space of time) and expect it to be plain sailing all the way, especially in the context of the most competitive league we've had in decades. And finally, the thing that pisses me off the most is the tone of some of what's said. I find the lack of affection in some people's comments bizarre, never mind the lack of respect. Kenny Dalglish is the greatest player this club has ever seen; he built and managed the best team we've ever had; and he was the moral compass of the club and city through some of its darkest days. Even if you can't warm to him (and I don't see how you can avoid it when you see that post-goal smile light up his face), you must respect him. In summary, I don't expect reverence, but I do expect a respectful tone when criticising him and I think it's wrong for it not to be present. I also think people need to look at his record, remember the scale of what he's undertaking and re-callibrate their short-term expectations.
