I get IFAB are the group that presides over law but if uefa and fifa don’t want this then why would it ever happen. Clubs, particularly the biggest clubs who yield a lot of weight and power could refuse it. Why can’t there be some militancy over this and fans, players, clubs and governing bodies just say no. We won’t be adopting this now or ever. IFAB are clearly out of touch and the VAR shambles proves this. That system was trialled and after a trial it is decided if it is good or not good. VAR is clearly to the detriment of the game as it stops the flow of what should be a fast paced game. It’s added nothing but more layers of complexity and confusion. Yet we now have VAR in place. The blue card, to anyone with a brain cell is clearly a shit idea, so say no before it goes too far.

Illness apparently
