it’s our finishing that has United at Wembley. It’s the story of our season. Missed chances. We need to change that story. Pronto

Nicely taken

If we beat United tomorrow, we’ll win the Title. The problem with tomorrow, is that United will want to play the game as THEIR biggest game of the season, just to stop us winning the Title. It’s the history. That’s what separates us from Arsenal and City.

If only we could keep clean sheets.

Only half? I reckon its 75% - the other 25% being his blood pressure.

They’d find a way to draw the lines to show the bullet missing.

‘The Convert’ Just released in Aotearoa. Saw it last week and I must say, it’s a very well made film with a timely relevance for us here, with the new Coalition Government wanting a referendum on the ‘principles of the Treaty Of Waitangi’ Lee Tamahori of ‘Once Were Warriors’ fame directs, with Guy Pierce back to his best.

When was the last time you went to the gym?

Haha. It’s a modern take on the old bullworker isometric equipment. When extended it spans probably 600mm. Bicep shoulder lateral work out. The planks give me the tricep balancer -

Picked this up for $30 about 12 months ago. It has a variable resistance. Together with daily planks & bush walks once a wk, at 66, I feel pretty good. Also moved to an ancestral diet. -

Gakpo: I am still learning and developing my game

if Diogo was fit, we’d not only be at Wembley, we’d have beaten City and Arsenal, and be a solid 4-5 points ahead at the top. unfortunately, he’s always been a package of two items. Goals and injuries. -

We bundled Arsenal out of the Cup and now the only talk about Arsenal is a title challenge. United got us today. Fuck the reasons. We’re in a title race and still marching to Dublin. We learn, we move on. -

Klopp will want to reverse today in the league. He’ll be up for it, and the players will go again. That’s two games gone from the calendar - a semi and a final. It’s not much, but it might be the difference for the squad. We simply have to win at the Toilet next time. The Arsenal City game will be key to this season now, but we just have to win this game next time. -

Diaz loves the wide part of left field, very much like a winger plays. As has been said, this effectively keeps Robbo deeper, and we lose a lot of what Robbo has to offer. If we want the best from Robbo, or indeed Tsimi, then Diaz probably has to move to the right…or even centre if Darwin isn’t on the field. They roam somewhat, but generally it’s Diaz left. As for Cody, I’ve given him plenty of stick in this game, but the bigger picture is that he’s not settled. He doesn’t always start, he gets moved around, and he looks out of sorts. Something’s not right, but it’s not all his fault. -

the approach was right, agreed. The execution was sub par, but this is how tiredness works. A lot of our players are struggling for fitness. -

For all our ability to play football - and we were clearly the better side in footballing terms- United have been our Achilles Heal this season. We couldn’t beat them at Anfield, and now I have to say I’m concerned for the league game coming up. The recent goal fests against these were with Sadio, Bobby and Mo at his best. We were guilty today of missed chances and slack passing in the second half. It should have been done and dusted in 90 minutes. Jurgen will be very disappointed, as he should be. -

Elliot runs his bollocks off, but his skill set is lacking in the final 3rd. Gakpo just not in the game currently, and we’re tiring rapidly. Someone seriously needs to step up
