Some good points here.
I think he'll show a lot more pragmatism going forward and repeat the hard corner we faced last season. With those deserving to keep/establish their place in the team could really give us the confidence we need in both attacking, and defending play.
For me, the introduction of Lovern (although largely disliked) later in the game takes him out of the firing line but still keeps his game awareness up (well.... as up as it can be). Once his confidence resumes, I think we'll start seeing more solidity with Toure and Skrtel with Lovern interchanging when necessary and probably starting against Bournemouth.
And hey, on another note, who'd have thought a team with both Gerrard and Lucas in could work?
