I could only watch the match on a really really shitty stream so I missed huge chunks of the game, every time the picture froze I would count the number of spurs players in it and it was always ten camped on the edge of their own box every single fucking time. I didn't know that he worked for the red bull teams, every time I'd hear about Salzburg and Liepzig from people in the know they would always talk about how well run they are about how good their setups are and how professional and forward thinking they are.I think a large reason for that is down to Gerard Houllier and that's a great testament to the man.

I was worried about this game beforehand too but I think opposition teams are more worried about playing us even with all the injuries, this team has a real fear factor about it now. Also how the hell did they get Kelleher's name wrong on his jersey I could understand if it was his first name maybe.

The ref was annoying me all game I don't mind a ref letting the game flow but he was just avoiding making decisions. There was a foul on Gini in the build up to their first goal which looked blatant, but to be honest we deserved nothing from that game.

I'm even more angry after reading that now, I knew it was the same VAR fucker from the Burnley game but I didn't realize it was the same one from the utd game too. He's either staggeringly incompetent or biased or he's both. It's the worse VAR display I've seen since it's been introduced.

I think if you worked in an office and two co-workers tested positive for covid within a week it would have an effect on your concentration levels and ability to work properly. It would affect everyone in the office worrying about whether they caught it or are they passing it on to their families. It must have been like that for the players last week, it wouldn't help with preparations for a football match, when you add in missing four key players it's bound to have an effect. Having said that we should never be conceding seven goals to anyone.

I think maybe part of the reason for the defensive mistakes against arsenal is that the defenders have almost nothing to do for long periods of the game, it must be hard for them to concentrate fully in a game like that. Also how many more Liverpool wins will it take for the void the season twats to start up again
