  1. And it's shoot the messenger time again. Is the footballer above a 'twitter boy? Is the ex head of the British army also a 'twitter boy? Zelensky's wife should have thanked the British people for their support/aid/money/sacrifice. She's a multi millionaire with holiday homes throughout the world (one in Italy is apparently being rented to a British based Russian). Her husband was also named in the Pandora papers. For her to say we, the British people should "stop counting pennies" is at best churlish and at worst insulting. Britain is NOT at war.
  2. I think you'll find more than a few posters on twitter with a Ukraine flag on the top of their page if you look hard enough.
  3. The former head of the British Army thinks this war needs to be resolved by talks, and quickly. It doesn't necessarily mean he couldn't give a fuck about the Russian atrocities. People across the globe are possibly going to freeze or starve to death this winter due to the impact of sanctions, Africa is in a perilous situation, any care for them?
  4. This is what I meant, cringe, Can Johnson shine some sun on those who needlessly died from covid?
  5. God the BBC are fawning over Johnson this morning. They're also determined to keep this 'will he cone back? question rolling.
  6. That's the end of media darling dishy Rishi..Or superman as the beeb once called him,
  7. This is becoming like that time Apple made a big deal about putting the new U2 album in your account for free, but then found no-one in Britain wanted to listen to it.
  8. Similar in Italy, Denmark and France. The EU has ignored the poor, https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/8/30/italy-eu-face-big-risk-of-potential-far-right-victory-ex-pm
  9. He'll get in on the slogan "we'll have parties on the beeches'
  10. Relax. This Russian army couldn't take Poland in a thousand years.
  11. Hmm bit of a difference, that was a world war where Germany stormed through Europe. America were attacked by Japan. We are not at war and this conflict in and is taking place in a strip of land in eastern Ukraine. Britain has bent over backwards to give both military and financial support. We also put in place six rounds of sanctions against a country we are not at war with in support of Mrs Zelenskys country which will unquestionably result in a great deal of our own citizens deaths this winter. To suggest the British public are 'counting our pennies' is an insulting turn of phrase by a woman who's riches go far beyond the dreams of the people she's directed it at.
  12. Thanks for the thanks. I preferred her in Vogue.
  13. Laura said her new supadupa Sunday show would be a bit more light hearted with a element of fun to go with that serious stuff. However she didn't seem best pleased when Lycatt provided just that but at the expense of her interview with Liz Truss.
  14. No it's not. The working class have found a voice, a voice that had been silent for 30 years. Bring it on.
  15. The whole worker-employer structure is being withdrawn.
  16. The job of the police is to catch the people they think did it and to present that evidence to a court for the jury to decide. For the police to call a person who hasn't been tried and convicted a "murderer" could prejudice the jury so make it difficult to hold a fair trial. Stronts is right Stig, stupid and unnecessary comment from the police that.
  17. Her ex husband Michael Gove, whom Johnson called a snake before sacking, called him "the man who restored Britain's faith in democracy" they are trolling us.
