I don't get all this we haven't done this, we haven't done that lark. What more do people want? Us to win every single game? Us to get 100 pts as a bare minumum. Even our great teams of the 70's and 80's weren't putting together seasons like this really - our last title winning side got 79 pts from a 38 game season. It is deeply frustrating that what we are doing is highly likely to not be enough and that the wait is going to go on - but it isn't down to our failings it is down to the fact that we are being asked to go to unseen levels to win it. No team has ever got to 90 pts and not won league - we are 20 pts short of 90 with 27 pts to play for....if we get just those 20 will we win it?....will we fuck. Bournemouth for example 0 attempts on or off or even blocked at city's goal at weekend - 0 corners...first time has happened since they started keeping these stats...because they were frozen with fear and afraid to cross halfway playing City - if that is where things are heading then the future is grim. But for me we have done nothing wrong really....we are putting together normal (in fact better than normal) title winning form but it isn't competing with anything near normal. On any of the quite rare occasions a team has got to 90 pts they have won the league by an average of 11 pts. No team has got 90 or more pts and not won it. Arsenal's invincible team achieved 90 pts. We are doing unbelievably well - probably end up with our best ever points return and we have won the thing 18 fucking times, so that is not a low bar - but we are up against a fucking ridiculous financially doped team. It of course if we fall short won't count for anything and in fact will probably just make it sting worse but sadly it is what it is - it is mad when the expectation for season is almost win every game - totally mad. I said it yesterday we are like a runner in the 100m Olympic final running 9.58 secs to equal world record only to be beaten by some cunt juiced up to his eyeballs running 9.50.

In the last 3 seasons (inc this one so far) he has made 94 appearances for us in all comps and scored 2 goals. An absolutely terrible return for someome who plays in midfield for a team who are on the front foot in the vast majority of the games they play.

Palace A.....comfortable mid table dross. Tottenham H....Spurs will need a win to maintain lead in top 4 race.....maybe first game in list result is in slight doubt. Man Utd A....the one big challenge for City - they should need to win for top 4...of course if they don't then they will lay down.
