  1. Had an op... https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/415749-joe-gomez-injury-update
  2. Toni knows.... Toni Kroos: "We are just puppets in the hands of FIFA and UEFA. These competitions are created just to suck everything out of every single player physically and to suck out as much money as possible"
  3. Rudiger is a decent shout....can play full back as well. Possible sticking point there is the plastics refusing to sell to us. Contract expires June 2022.
  4. Another good little story here... https://www.thisisanfield.com/2020/11/the-story-of-pakos-hill-a-unique-quirk-of-melwood-under-rafa-benitez/amp/
  5. Belter of a retro packet that
  6. It is absolutely ridiculous. This nations cup lark was set up deliberately by UEFA to try and 'fight' the clubs power....and then on top of it the greedy national associations go and throw a friendly on top.
  7. They should have just stopped international footy until calendar could normalise. The players are very expensivsely accquired employess of the clubs and very highly paid employees of the clubs.....the load on them from their employers is bad enough, adding more to it for internationals is taking piss. European nations have added in a fucking friendly in this and last break - meaning 3 games in a week. I know Scotland have an actual play off, so that is different, but even that shows how stupid the schedule is as it is smack bang in middle of their nations cup lark...and you can bet life they'd play a friendly if not involved in play off. Breaks were always 2 games....3 is just madness. With the covid travel lark i'd even go as far as maybe leaving out european cup/europa league until calendar normalises, scrap the Euro Championships lark in Summer too. They reduced the european club comps to a farce anyway last year from last 8 on and it'll probably happen again.... Plus as Klopp said clubs have no power with internationals over protocol when their players are off to fucking here there and everywhere for the week...and possibly into less well run environments. Whole shambles is greed driven and it just pushes us as fans further away from game we loved.
  8. Scotland play Thurs, Sun, Weds.... Fucking ridiculous - and Robbo will play all 3 nailed on.
  9. For my money we should do two things: 1. Bring in somebody on 1st Jan who is going to be the longer term solution for us....i'd imagine we know who that would be, if we have to pay a premium to make it happen in Jan so be it. 2. Bring in someone ASAP (if it is 1st Jan so be it) on a short term deal (6 month contract) who can just help us out - a Caulker type deal.
  10. Ezequiel Garay. Problem is he has had a major injury himself not long ago, which is why he left last club. Garay was on the starting XI in the 2019 Copa del Rey Final, a 2–1 triumph against Barcelona.[30] In February 2020, after suffering a cruciate ligament injury to his right knee which would sideline him for up to six months,[31] he asked to be released so that another player in his position could be signed.[32]
  11. 3 fucking games in 7 days Ingerlund have got coming up....how the fuck can that be allowed to happen especially in a season like this. Something has to be done, we know nothing will, but maybe clubs need to make a stand.
  12. And not a thing will change off the back of this. I despise international football, i despise the mongs who follow Ingerlund and their shite flags emblazoned with their shithole town names and 'on tour'....'no surrender' etc.
  13. Fucks sake....bad enough when get these injuries doing the job he is paid to do...even worse when it is off with these fucking pointless international shite games.

  15. No question about that timing.....and here we are finally back on our perch at a time when the world is on it's fucking knees. Fucking our timing!
  16. PJ Harvey Bjork Zola Jesus Tori Amos Kate Bush Kim Gordon (definitely released some solo albums) Lana Del Rey Really wanted Kim Deal (love that woman) or Skin in list but neither are known as soloists are they...
  17. Some good photos from the 90's here: https://www.thisisanfield.com/2020/11/unseen-melwood-34-photos-that-show-liverpool-training-was-very-different-in-the-90s/amp/
  18. Another massive loss - one after another isn't it. Hurts our attacking width down his side so much and with him and VVD out that is our 2 best passers from the back out. Hopefully he will be back soon enough. Can't see Klopp playing Oxlade there, will be Milner or Williams (who for me is way off being up to it yet)
  19. Pretty much what BBC are reporting: The scientists on the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation previously published a list of prioritisation of who should get a jab first, with care home residents and staff among those at the top. The interim guidance says the order of priority should be: Older adults in a care home and care home workers All those aged 80 and over and health and social care workers, though they may move up the list Anyone 75 years of age and over People aged 70 and over All those aged 65 and over High-risk adults under 65 years of age Moderate-risk adults under 65 years of age All those aged 60 and over All those 55 and over All those aged 50 and over The rest of the population, with priority yet to be determined But the committee stressed this list was "not considered definitive" as more data is still being collected on at-risk groups.
  20. Already started with WHO fella.
  21. WHO 'special envoy' already come out to temper things: It is great news that there are promising signs from vaccine trials, but a vaccine will not be a total game changer, an expert has warned. Dr David Nabarro, World Health Organization special envoy on Covid-19, said it was important for people, and governments, to maintain behaviour which had helped to slow the spread of the virus even if a vaccine was available. "I just want to stress that these principles that we have been working for are still absolutely essential even if a vaccine arrives in the next few months," he said. A vaccine will help but it is not going to be a complete game changer." He said the vaccine still had to go through regulatory processes and said there were always "many steps" before authorities could say a vaccine was "safe and effective", and he predicted it would take "a few months" at least.
  22. BBC reporting it as 'breaking news' headline. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-54873105
