  1. Everyone does know!!!! As for being a lost cause - strange / innovative idea to talk things through anonymously to try and better a situation eh??? To be fair its helped and so has the humour too
  2. Got this to watch tonight. Looking forward to it more now.
  3. I have no ill feeling towards her at all. It wasn't the best way to start the ball rolling granted but she had no other way to contact me and i appreciate this must of been something she's wrestled with herself.Couldn't have been easy.
  4. She says she wants nothing from me but just thought i needed to know. The fella who she was with and who is the kids Dad is no longer with her.split up 2 years since. He has another child with her. He pays maintenance and has contact 3 times weekly with both children. He does not want to sit down and talk because he says as far as he is concerned nothing changes. Credit to him.Of course this may change. Apparently the lad has been told which i am not sure is a good thing but that was their choice to make. The Dad has only recently found out he is not the biological father.
  5. She's aware. We had a couple of rocky days but she has her head around it now and is fully supportive.
  6. It is very personal but any help or advice that helps to make this easier is worth it in my view. Of course i have to be part of his life. The lad is the main priority. the only 2 people who have any blame in this is me and the mother. So all the innocent parties in this need sensitive consideration too. The person i feel for most in all of this is the the poor bugger who has raised the kid, thinking he was biologically his until recently. I don't know the motives yet but obviously i am sceptical and a bit dubious but all that will come out in the fullness of time. I consider that secondary at this point. My main issue is what to do now. The lad has a Dad and a good one by all accounts so i don't want to go in all guns blazing and as a stranger and turn lives upside down.
  7. Just over 2 weeks ago my brother text saying he needed to speak to me face to face. I told him to come over to the house and he turned up 30 minutes later. He gave me his phone and i stared down at a message via facebook from an ex basically stating that i had a 6 year old son i knew nothing about. To cut a long story short and after 2 of the worst weeks of my life i had a DNA test and it confirmed that what she was saying was true. I am happily living with my Girlfriend and our 2 gorgeous daughters. I am now faced with some pretty tough dilemmas and have to make some life changing decisions. Can anyone offer up any advice if they have been in my situation or that of the child i now know i have? Obviously i want to avoid as much stress and disruption to the lad as possible while taking in to consideration my existing family too. With no manual as to what to do in this situation i would greatly appreciate any advice you can give me.......Thanks

  11. Broken. Really enjoyed this. Picked it because Tim Roth is in it. Didn't expect much granted but 7/10, Young lass steals the show.
  12. We tried our best - honest, now have Tom Ince!! Sceptic in me says smokescreen to draw our attention from our bargain basement signings.
  13. Olympus has fallen. Disengage Brain. Enjoyable / Entertaining. 5.5/10 Broken City. Nothing you haven't seen before but decent. 6/10 Side Effects. Really liked this. 7.5/10
  14. Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Surprising. 7/10. Enjoyed it.
  15. Serves Mike Ashley right for handing out 8 year contracts. Sevres Pardew right for becoming so above himself. Both off the back of 1 over achieving season. Kinnear should be added to the dead pool contest on the GF. Hell be stuffed and used as a hat stand before the season is out!!!
  16. Welcome to the Punch. Given the cast - slightly disappointing. Didn't buy into McAvoy. Cliched and a bit unevenly paced. 6/10
  17. The Impossible. Not sure enjoyed it is quite right but a good film. 7/10. Shame. Not exactly sure what i thought of this. Well acted, shot well etc.. couldn't quite decide what i thought come the end mind. 6/10
  18. Fucking Hell. Just watched it. I reacted like it was real. Hands on head actually saying out loud "FUCK!!" Quite embarrassing. Cant recall being stunned like that by a T.V series or film. AMAZING
  19. Place Beyond the Pines Might of expected too much. disappointing. 6/10
  20. After a routine victory against Norwich in which he scored, Suarez swaps shirts at full time with a black player from Norwich and immediately wipes his nose on it!!! Luis Suarez - INTENTIONALLY DIABOLICAL
  21. Statistically i could be wrong (its been known)but it seems to me that we create no more chances than under King Kenny, convert about the same amount of them and where we could fall back on the fact we were solid at the back before we cant now because were conceding more. We also are taking a lot of time out of the game by passing the ball along our back 4 in the vain hope it seems were 'controlling' the game. The best way to control the game is by scoring when on top and putting games to bed. We are lucky that given the right signings in January these things can be rectified as were not a million miles behind.
