1. I have and the chances are most have and don't know it. I've also dated a bird that's been with 2 birds. It really doesn't bother me (within reason) what a bird's past is, I'm more interested in the present and the future.
2. This calls for a feel good song to mark the occassion: Warning! The following content is NOT WORK SAFE. Click the Show button to reveal.
3. Taarabt is a tool, he has amazing ability but just refuses to think he can learn from anyone be it on or off the pitch. I imagine you will have seen more of Aissadi than most so if I said I think he's a very determined player with great work rate, good on and off the ball and unselfish most of the time (that being what I saw of him at Heerenveen) would I be right in my estimation of him? Also what do you think of Belhanda? Do you think there is any way we could get the two of them in the same side at some point?
4. Gonzalez had all the attributes needed apart from the most important, a football brain and as anyone will tell you who has seen Aissadi he's a very smart player, especially for a winger.
5. No but that's easy to say in hindsight. What I can say is given Degen's previous injury problems it wasn't a smart move and carried more of a risk than we should have been willing to take. I can also say what I said at the time which was I preferred Lichtsteiner.
6. Van Persie had an Indian summer last year, the only year he's completed a full campaign with 7 other seasons being cut short through injury (28 being the most games in any other season he managed). I'm not saying he isn't a talented player but he's obviously an asshole to move to United after all Arsenal and Wenger did for him (no substance). Why is 3m and 21k a week on a 23 year old international who has scored 19 goals from the wing in his last 2 seasons in 58 games? Isn't the question somewhat redundant?
7. I'd rather we made astute signings like this one where stars can be made, rather than went out and overpaid for crocks with no substance who just want a big pay day. 3m and 21k seems like a very smart signing to me. I'd still like to see a left footed winger in our ranks though!
8. At no point could you make Downing look like he could take a man on at pace with skill without using effects that are not used on any of the videos of Aissadi's videos. Plus having seen Heerenveen play on more than one occassion in the past few years, he and Narsingh stand out a mile (though as I say I prefer Narsingh up to now). 3m? That's an unreal bargain!
9. I like him but I prefer the lad who he plays with Narsingh who is a pure assist machine. Hopefully he can do a job for us and I reckon this puts to bed the Tello saga. Still no lefties ....
10. All the best teams in the world have a left footed in them and there are two reasons for that, balance and in general they are a bastard to play against.
11. To the tune of Santa Lucia "He came from Italy a knife between his teeth loves it at LFC Fabio Borini" "Scored the first time he played the fans we sang and swayed filled us with total glee Fabio Borini" "Arrived from Italy after time in Swansea scoring for you and me Fabio Borini" "Bologna's favourite son Liverpool's genie Fabio Borini Fabio Borini"
12. How is anyone supposed to know when the search engine has all the use of Jay Spearing.
13. Callejon is a quality player who as many went backwards at Real but am I the only one who is a bit worried about having 3 right footed players up front. It would be really nice if we could sign a quality left footed player who is used to playing in a 4-3-3.
14. Twitter / ENOCH_SHOWUNMI: @rioferdy5 there's a reason ...
15. Cats are in general cunts but dogs only seem to be cunts when they have cuntbag owners.
16. Using three letter acronyms doesn't make you a cunt, saying "Chicarito" does though.
17. Perfect game for King Felix but the 3rd this year. Seems it's getting to be slightly less of an amazing accomplishment thesedays. Mets remembering how shit we really are and reverting to type.
18. There was no confirmation that we would get Sahin. If Sahin comes here then he will play, he's far too good not to.
19. Possibility of a permanent deal for Sahin? That's too good to be true! We still need that wide player. A few options Honda, G.Rodriguez (if he wants to be serious about his demands), Boudebouz, Iturbe (on loan?), Johnson, any left footed player that can cut inside has a bit of pace and trickery and isn't Downing.
20. When you watch this show again there are so many little nuances that you missed the first time round: Watch the look D'Angelo gives Bodie when he talks about the pawns getting "capped quick" (2:53) and then we see the defiance that serves Bodie well but ultimately "the game still the game" some just play a little longer.
21. Well he was the top scorer in the Euros and so far has a strike rate of 1 in 1. His problem as I've said will be the negative tactics of Di Matteo who is yet to show he is capable to get his side to play attacking football of any merit and has only shown he can put 10 men behind the ball and over rely on a strong centre forward to bully his way to goal.
