God know why Pardew didn't play him, but your comparing Mascherano and Charlie Adam for goodness sake, one is a class act, and the other....isn't.

I think he's no better than average, and what of it?, if you think otherwise then fine, Konchesy or Degen didn't cost between £7m-£9m, did they?

I was banned from RAWK (like many others) for expressing reservations about the Adam/Downing signings, the amount of money they cost, and then being critical of their subsequent performances, perfectly acceptable on any forum I'm sure you'll agree......not RAWK though, and there is such a little clique that say what they want and don't get banned, as they kiss the ass of the "mods", who take forum Nazis to a whole other level. Clearly a likeable chap on a personal level, heard many people say this and that he is always very complimentary about Liverpool " a propa futbawl clab" in his estimation. What riles me about him is the free ride the press and other media give him, even after so much evidence of his total dodginess, bungs/tax avoidance/bankrupting clubs, yet when a decent person like Benitez donates over £100k to a very worthwhile appeal/charity there is very little made of it (not that Rafa did it for personal fanfare). If he was a foreign manager he would be crucified, it gets me to thinking that he gets such an easy ride, as he is going to be the next Engerlund manager, therefore the hacks don't want to burn their bridges with him (yet), they'll just wait til he makes a bollocks of that job, then slaughter him.

The man is a crook, and the fact he has fished so many people in with his deception is all the more astonishing.
