Why are the other clubs allowing this? What's in it for them--do they get a cut of the purchase price? For the lower level clubs another minted customer for the players they develop, I suppose. But mid-table up, why would you want another ownership group with whom you can't compete financially?

Mississippi Grind Ben Mendelsohn and Ryan Reynolds in a road movie about two gamblers. I really enjoyed it, as I like both actors. If you don't, you probably won't. Reminded me of a movie from the '70s--Scarecrow, 5 Easy Pieces, The Last Detail, Midnight Cowboy, etc.

The first little move he made to go around whichever one of them it was who dove in, and then the shot in off the post with his wrong foot.... I mentioned in the "Other Football" thread how shite the finishing has been in the matches I've watched lately. In part due to players afraid to take clear chances with their wrong foot. If there's better out there, I haven't seen it.
