1. Partridge for me. Quite a few there I've never seen though. I don't like Only Fools and Horses.
2. RobbieOR Juniper cochyn cmuller Fowlers god TheGhost Plewggs Skidders Ziggy Stardust
3. Sin City - 6/10 Visually stylish, cool fights, and Jessica Alba. That's all. Ray - 8/10 Really good. Jamie Foxx is brilliant and the music certainly adds to the enjoyment, immediately started to listening to loads of Ray Charles' stuff after I saw it. Good Will Hunting - 8/10
4. Good video. It should be obvious to anyone who actually watched Carroll for Newcastle that he isn't slow at all. Admittedly, he has for the most part looked like a slow carthorse for us. Hopefully he'll get that pace and sharpness back, and if he does he'll be a monster. I do wish he'd jump for the ball though.
5. Arcade Fire twice in the summer, brilliant on both occasions.
6. I spent all summer toying with ideas but never got round to actually writing anything. I think I'll have to at some point this year though, which is what I need as I'd probably never get anything done if I'm left to my own devices.
7. The Debt - 6/10 Enjoyed it for the most part, but it got really boring towards the end. Found the 'flashback' parts a lot better than the stuff with Helen Mirren, think the girl playing the younger Rachel was really good. Chinatown - 9/10 Fantastic film.
8. Not sure what to nominate. Is the idea to chose something that you've seen and like, but not something that everyone has seen?
9. This, although I was just going to say Cartoons, I don't find any of them funny. Family Guy is the main one, it's shit. I wouldn't mind if there weren't these people who insist on quoting it all the fucking time. Also, Muse.
10. I can't thing of one stand out so far. To be fair that's probably because I've hardly listened to any new albums this year, I've been mainly catching up with other bands by listening to their older stuff. There are a few 2011 releases that I'll listen to at some point, but obviously nothing exciting me too much else I would have already.
11. Ah, I really, really want to see Drive, looks absolutely class. May go and watch Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy tommorow.
12. Source Code - 7/10 Enjoyed it quite a bit, wasn't keen on the ending though, or the soundtrack. Saw some similarities with Moon, but it's not as good as that is. Liking Duncan Jones though.
13. Can't be arsed going through listing all my favourites now, but when we had to do 'ice-breakers' last week and name our favourite film, I usually went for Donnie Darko.
14. Fright Night (in 3D) - 5/10 Wasn't scary at all which was disappointing. Seemed rushed at the beginning, got better towards the end. There were a few quite funny moments, mildly enjoyed it I suppose, but I expected a lot more. Will probably watch the original soon. The 3D is annoying though. I don't have a problem with it in theory, it just looked shit.
15. I really dislike Mumford and Sons. TV on the Radio, however, are fucking ace. Been pretty busy recently but I definitely plan to, might check out that one tomorrow. I gather they are good friends with Arcade Fire too, I think I'll like them.
