  1. I used soccertriads.com recently to order the white away strip for 5-a-side. Was £18 with p&p. Took ten days to arrive, appeared to be posted from Germany. Pleased with quality. my kids initially gave me stick for buying blag but after seeing the top have asked me to order some for them.
  2. I've worked in Manchester for past 13 years. Work with a few City fans, a few of who are season ticket holders and followed them when they were in 3rd division. Happy for them to see them have a bit of success. To put in perspective, a lad in work been following them same amount of time as I have us. During that time , i've attended 13 finals, the FA cup in May was his first! Can see the arrogance creeping in with some of them though, so let them have their fun this season and we can pick up the reins next session
  3. I'm on a course in London next week and have to travel down on the Sunday. Will be looking for somewhere in London to watch the Man City game. I know its on Sky so will be on in most pubs, just wondering of there are any places where a lot of Reds will be watching?
  4. My mate got corporate hospitality tickets at City of Manchester stadium, can't remember the year off top of my head, just remember it being a few days after Xmas. I was driving, so avoided the alcohol on offer. We enjoyed the pre match meal and were then taken through to our seats, only to find ourselves in a section right behind City fans. We, the team, got battered 1st half but only went in at half time 1 down. Goes back 2nd half, Vlad scores with a goal that MOTD never even captured, cue my mate (who had took advantage of the free ale) celebrating and quite a few City fans staring back at us. I warned my mate if we scored again, don't celebrate. Next thing we know, Didi smacks one in from about 30 yards and we both instantly jumped up to celebrate! This brought more stares and a few comments in our direction. Started to feel very uncomfortable and was pretty relieved when Robbie Fowler equalised for them in injury time! That thankfully took their attention away from us!
  5. I was looking on ebay a couple of years ago for Liverpool stuff and noticed the programme from this game was going for quite high prices. Turns out that it is a bit of a collectors item as they sold out, never done a reprint and with them doing the double there was a demand. Don't think I ever even read the thing - it got lashed in the back of the car as soon as I left Wembley and ended up in the loft with all my other programmes. Dug it out, listed it on ebay and sold it for just over £100. Some recompense for another wise shitty day
  6. Nice one! Just ordered - that's my dad's Xmas pressie boxed off!
  7. Its repeated early hours Monday morning on BBC4
  8. Liverpool FC this afternoon confirmed that Sotirios Kyrgiakos had left the club and joined Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg. The Greek defender made 49 appearances for the Reds, scoring three goals, after signing from AEK Athens in August 2009
  9. On my phone so can't do a link, but I got myself one of these and gave it to the missus to wrap up from the kids. £16 from Woolies on line a few weeks ago.
  10. My son got hit on a driving lesson round this time last year. Sounds very similar. He complained of neck pain so I took him to A&E. Got a bit worse later in week. His instructor put a claim in. Got settled almost instantly - £1500.
  11. Thanks for the responses. He doesn't use it online. Sitting here with it wrapped in towels and fingers crossed!
  12. My son's Xbox is displaying an E74 error. This is covered on an extended warranty. Problem is I bought it second hand so don't know if still in warranty. Secondly, it has been modded so not sure Microsoft would touch it anyway. I have googled and saw some sites advising to wrap it in towels to overheat which seems to remedy it. Was wondering if anyone else has had thus error and how they fixed it?
