  1. If he gets decent shift out of the fuckers it will be as much as we can reasonably expect in game 1. That said I think we will win . We have some decent players and if they're all switched on and playing for their places it should be too much for Spurs.
  2. Exactly, sycophantic bollocks as far as the eye can see whilst behind his back they are sharpening knives and praying for him to fall flat on his face. Same formulaic shite every time. Plenty lapping it up mind.
  3. I know some of the hyperbole is ridiculous. I'm sure Klopp will just be focused on meeting the players , getting a few key messages across and putting out a solid team against the Spuds. There is no quick fix and he'll be in no doubt about that
  4. Yeh , anything by the Klopptops
  5. It's worrying insomuch he's only signed for 3 years so he seems to have a get if jail on that ! I wish they wouldn't put numbers on these things. Winning a title is not just about Klopp it's about our owners fully backing him I'm just looking forward to a quick improvement in the work ethic of the players , a sense of purpose to the way we play and the fans really getting behind them. Let's see where that gets us to over the coming months and go from there .
  6. I'm amazed the fuckers got it sorted in under a week . Why do transfer deals turn into endless soap operas . They can get their shit together when really necessary is the moral of this story and I want to see more of this decisive leadership not the clueless dithering that they normally display
  7. They are home ...in America which is half the problem Anyway I agree , if this doesn't work were fucked until we get better owners
  8. I am confident the owners can swing it. They don't have Greggs in Spain
  9. There are going to be a few tears when Allardyce tips up on Friday !
  10. I'll celebrate when its a done deal. Too many false dawns down the years
  11. You would think so . Just hope he hasn't looked too closely at Lovren
  12. I know. Its a done deal and would probably happened at the end of last season if Klopp was available/willing then. Still doesn't mean I can't take a cheap shot at the owners for their inability to run a piss up in the proverbial brewery. They have fucked me off so many times one deal for a decent manager doesn't wipe the slate. It shouldn't have taken them 3+ years and 100's millions spunked on shite to get to this point.
  13. Look no further than his first few months and you'll see the issue . Spent ages chasing Siggurdson a player he knew intimately and really rated, Player refuses to follow him to Anfield ( what does that say about what Siggurdson thought of Rodgers btw ?) and chooses Spurs who think he must be great if his former manager wants him so badly . Player turns out to be fairly average and does nothing. Second choice is Joe Allen who is no better than a squad player o the rare occasion's hes fit.. His ability to spot a dud is non existent and has if anything got worse during his tenure.
  14. Was the deluded cunt expecting a call or what ? Sounds like he thinks he's been jibbed off at the altar
  15. Not wishing to piss on your chips but BBC reports ... " Liverpool's American owners Fenway Sports Group have no plans to travel to the UK and, at this stage, plan to oversee the recruitment process from the United States." What could possibly go wrong ?
  16. Even with my innate cynicism I think the Klopp deal is done . The owners have shown great naivety in their planning at times but even they can't be so fucking stupid as to not have a replacement lined up before they sacked Rodgers.
  17. Not much of a claim to fame really
  18. Is that the same as mini cheggers
  19. Is the correct answer. Blame the owners for employing him not Rodgers for getting what he's due.
  20. I agree with most of this and he was never the right choice but for me either but the fact he never seemed to learn annoyed me. Bizzarre selections ( who can for the time he played 4 CBs at home ), weakened teams in domestic cups where are biggest chance of trophies lie, failure to improve the defense etc etc. I think he is unable to manage a big squad with all the permutations and problems keeping players motivated . Few managers can really successfully . Stick him in a Swansea with a small first team squad and tight budget he will be fine,
