  1. Will they be putting out a near first eleven against Newport or Eastleigh as they are doing against Wigan? Taking the FA Cup very seriously then.
  2. He'll be insisting on style points being awarded to Arsenal next. It's kind of about putting the ball in the net......Kai Havertz etc.
  3. I was thinking the same even allowing for the Saudi ownership. We might get to see genuine goal celebrations? I wonder if the referee remembers how to referee on the assumption he could in the first place? Jumpers for goalposts.
  4. Why are they both wearing their home kits? It's actually quite difficult to tell them apart especially given that they're both shit?
  5. Exactly, let's see how he copes with a rainy midweek winter's evening away to Stoke?
  6. He'll go in the Spring, he's just trying to throw everyone off. He won't risk a summer season of asylum seekers boosting the figures and the economy flatlining as the year progresses. He'll hope a March giveaway budget will work for him (it won't) plus a few months improved economic data along with mortgage rates dropping will get him over the line. The Tory party will have torn itself apart by November and as others have posted, hanging onto the bitter end isn't a good look.
  7. Yeah we just can't tell because of the hype, they've had numerous apparently next generation talents who have immediately sank without trace. Where is Januzaj? The media hype around them this morning is ridiculous. Start of a new era etc. Another corner turned until the next one.
  8. They benefited last season as did the mancs from our dip, Chelsea's decline and Spurs being Spurs and falling out the top six. As our form and Spurs have improved this season they're back along with mancs battling it out for a top six finish. Add Villa's improvement and they're going to struggle. Howe has a definite ceiling. Much is made when either them or the mancs have injuries, funnily enough we don't get the same leniency.
  9. Never seems to get a mention. If they want the population to do these jobs they have to train and educate them with the necessary skills. They've cut workforce training investment over the last 13 years. If they don't want a cheap immigrant workforce for largely government funded sectors such as social care then they have to spend more to ensure wages are not 20% less than they should be. It might have helped if they hadn't privatised the sector so the investment doesn't go into the back pocket of privately owned nursing homes etc. Even then we'll always need immigrant workers because we're an ageing population. Perhaps if the elderly xenophobic Tory voters didn't live quite so long.....
  10. Just a reminder from FSG. There's no value in the January transfer market.
  11. Oh shit you're right. I take it all back, Brexit has been a complete success and our failing immigration policy cannot be linked to 'taking back control'.
  12. They're obsessed with punishing the poor and disabled and immigration of all types. Is the electorate outside of their own core voter's really that arsed? Cost of living crisis, economy flat lining, no growth so historically high taxes, NHS crisis, social care crisis, two majors wars, climate change etc. Nope let's force the disabled to work and persecute asylum seeks fleeing war torn regions. I assume this is all part of a desperate deflection policy to distract from their disastrous regime? I thought Brexit was meant to fix this?
  13. Ten Hag has spent over £400 million and is apparently a much revered European coach and genius. Yet they still just look like Ole's team, no control, counter attacking, spawny goals.
  14. We're going to get blamed for that penalty....somehow? Where's their superstar striker they picked up in the summer? Injured? On loan at Wigan?
  15. Old man here says that's a sign of a good side. We're not easy to beat, it takes the ref to drop up to nine men before we lose.
  16. Take that, thank you very much. Not really a great game. Lots of our rivals will go there and be turned over.
  17. They really do need to start backing Pep properly. Neville is up in arms at the lack of funding on the other side of Manchester.
  18. I'm waiting for them to start arguing for trickle down economics yet again. The trouble is that they've ensured that wealth is so confined to the super rich that even wealthy people won't be tricked down to. I don't of anyone who wants tax cuts at the moment.
  19. Personally they are paid so much, they should be driving risking their lives. They're all pretty obnoxious. I'd be all up for them driving 1970's six wheelers at the Nurburgring.
  20. Just to send a relatively small number of immigrants to a questionable African regime with a terrible human rights record at huge expense to the tax payer. They're utterly obsessed with their right wing wish list. Two major wars ongoing, NHS in crisis, social care on it's knees, cost of living crisis, zero growth economy but no it's all about their small boats policy. This will be the end of them, if it wasn't already. Just to appease a small percentage of the population.
  21. She's just putting the boot in as she's desperate to be seen as the new leader of the ultra right wing Tories after the impending GE defeat. What I don't get is that parties that move to only pander to their extreme core vote never win elections. The Tories are now squabbling with Reform over the same constituency of voters. 25-30% of the electorate at most.
