    wouldnt swap pepe for any keeper in the world, goalkeepers are under rated in the premier league shay given is also an excellant keeper but overall in every aspect of his game pepe is a little better than than the rest, hes been very unlucky that casiiias is the captain other than that he would be dropped

    id keep him till january, new managers have a habit of transforming some players although insua would need to be a transformer for the change he needs, but it depends who we get to replace him its already a part of the squad that needs attention but as a squad player thats young with alot to learn id hold on to him yet, the club already had a costly mistake in that position in dossena 3.7mill isnt alot for a first team regular last season even if were a top 7 club now, reira,ngog & lucas would be on the transfer list before him imo

    torres stated months ago that the team need 4 or 5 ggod players it dosent look like ere going to get them and possibly loose 2 as in benayoun and mascherano so what do you honestly think he is going to do after the world cup????????????????????????

    wouldnt mind if we raided half that german side for the problem areas lahm(left back) sweinsteiger(mascherano leaves) oezil (gerrard leaves) muller for his goal return from a wide man, even take a chance on klose but then again its a bit too german

    cant complain if gerrard did leave liverpool for madrid, he gave his best years as a player to the club & carried the team for long enough and gave his all, for me he owes liverpool nothing and if he wants to try a couple of seasons in spain with madrid and play along with his best midfield partner in alonso and we get a good price for him i think it would be good business 30mill & 25mill for mascherano & 10mill for lucas &15mill for aqualini thats 80mill in the transfer fund for 4 new midfield men

    as long as were not playing lucas and mascherano at the same time i dont mind, its far too defensive for a team like liverpool, but benitez was a man that would rather avoid defeat than try to win, hopefully hodgson will be more adventerous in attack, for me there was nothing more disapointing than seeing both lads playing at anfield against a bottom 10 side it lacks creativity and quick counter attacking football with neither of them the best at defence splitting passes thats mainly the reason i think stephan ireland would be a good addition to the pool, as well as seeing 2 up front would be a welcome change was getting fed up watching fernando getting lumps kicked out of him by 2 centre halfs whenever he was fit but when challenged with that its no wonder he wasnt

    why how much you reckon agger and mascherano would fetch?? arbeloa is twice the player of johnson as a right back, alonso was and still is a class act, gerrards poor season showed how much the team missed him, as for maxi he has yet to do anything in a red shirt, ngog and insua are two very poor players imo

    it wasnt how he pronunced them that annoyed me it was the sheer repetitiveness of it all, after watching gareth barry in the world cup how lucky we were to escape that signing to replace alonso saying that what we got instead isnt anything special although ill give aquilanni the benifit of doubt till he gets a few games under his belt, zonal marking is shite mate how many stupid goals has that defence let in from set-pieces when a man on each stick and man marking in the box would have stopped more than half of them, lets just hope rafa takes some of our lads to inter with him and pays the same amount for them again

    i think michael johnson & stephen ireland from man city would be well worth a punt, shawcross of stoke would be another id like to see, but definitly a striker of some kind in the bellamy mould minus the attitude that guy with uruaguay looks deacent(not forlan) hopefully with the sale of glen johnson, mascherano, reira,benayoun that would create good revenue, at least we dont have to look forward to zonal marking, kuyt on the wing, and benitez usual phrases "the squaaaaad" "mistake" "chances" "next game"

    welcome roy hodgson to our shabby run club, you have 3years to turn a team that finished 7th last season into premier league contenders heres 12million, what a load of shite lads you would nearly have to pay that to get rid of our bad players!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ill give roy his dues if thats what he has to play with hes either a very brave man or really wants the job and if the players show the same attitude we could actually do ok next year, but first things first hes got to get rid of some players lets face it if the money is good sell, except for reina im not bothered who goes if roy gets a good price and more importantly gets to spend it

    nows the time to clear out we have a deacent keeper a couple of good centre halfs with gerrard and torres(who would buy them after there world cup performances) as far as im concerned roy get what you can for the rest, there either at the end of there career, not commited or not good enough

    what will roys targets be as a manager is 7th in the league acceptable even if we loose a few players???? how long will his contract be for??? if we get filthy rich owners arent we just going down the same road as man city paying triple the price for every player there interested in just to replace them in the next transfer window and changing a manager every time they loose a game, right now lfc needs stability a man who wont shout his mouth off at every chance and concentrate on the football side of things, there no mention of huge debt when clubs are winning games, the premier league is getting weaker by the year, top players are heading to spain, maybe just maybe roy could build a half deacent hard working side and get rid of a dozen missfits

    id prefer if we could get new owners in place before any manager is sorted out, what man is going to wreck his managerial career with those 2 clowns in charge? new owners and break the bank for hiddink, hes an attacking manager instead of the defensive shit we had with the last 2 especially rafa, what other team in the premier league plays 2 defensive midfielders and 1 striker up front for home games against crap teams????? he sold robbie keane and in near 18months still hadnt bought anyone up front what a shambles this guy was

    i dont mind the red selling torres if they get near the 100mill mark for him, lets face it he spends alot of time in the treatment room and trying to regain fitness,the problem i have with having 100mill is giving it to rafa....... he has bought some shite lads and still hasnt bought a strike partner for torres since we sold robbie keane:telloff: as far as im concerned keep reina carragher and gerrard and get what you can for the rest of them preferebly with a new coach and new owners by august:whistle:
