  1. Loved the iphone 4 to start with but after 10 months it's giving me loads of shit, crashes more often than it should and battery life is three times worse than it used to be. Maybe it's from over use when my computer died and i used the phone as a mini pc, not sure,
  2. A man of the people. A man of honesty and integrity. A man of passion and vitality. A man of humility and honour. A man of great foresight, wit and wisdom. and a man who shared his determination. discipline and dedication with us in order to build the foundations of what we know as Liverpool football club today. He was a man who cared. Some people say that we dwell too much on the past and while that may or may not be true, in this instance I think we should embrace our past because we're going to need all of the qualities embodied by Shanks and by (most of) ourselves as Liverpool supporters to see through the rebuilding process that we've only recently started. We've already shown our solidarity, ingenuity and strength to topple H & G. and while we might have a lot of rebuilding work to do, we've got an awful lot to be proud of and I can't think of anybody else I'd like at the helm right now other than the king. RIP Shanks & thanks for everything! Sarah.
  3. Anybody read Kenny's column in the daily fail today. While it's clearly written befor he came back to the dugout, it's a good read and I'm loving the last few paragraphs. "Loan deals are meant to help players The decision by Sir Alex Ferguson and Tony Pulis to take back players they had agreed to send out on loan to Preston North End raises interesting questions all round about the system. I always thought the most important aspect of a loan deal was to benefit the player himself. It gives him the opportunity to play regular matches and develop more than he might at his main club. I don’t know the reason for the three United boys and two Stoke lads leaving Preston so abruptly after the club sacked their manager, Alex’s son, Darren Ferguson. But the important question for me is: has what has happened helped the players themselves?" Ginsoak won't like that.... So glad he's back. I cried aged 14 when he left & I was elated aged 33 when he came back yesterday. Right let's get in against the mancs. Sorry, can't post links yet.
  4. Just heard football correspondent on 5 Live say that he's heard there will be no statement on Roy Hodgson's future from LFC today. Arrrgghh.
  5. Two clapped out old bangers welded together cut & shut style. If it happens it'll be all about shirt sales £££ and vanity.
  6. That bastard is like something out of Night Of The Living Dead. He's been feeding on the flesh of the club for far too long and just when you think you've got rid up he gets again. He just won't stay down.
  7. rargh, Hope you're wrong. Let's keep the pressure on, they don't seem to like that. I'm looking up DIY law degrees on the internet as we speak.
  8. I'm coming out of the lurker closet. Those nasty bastards will do anything to see a profit. Failing that they'll do anything that they can to destroy us because we're on the verge of destroying them. If they can secure us a nine point deduction before they fuck off then they will be happy. After the court ruling earlier I'm hoping that's not possible. The likes of Stephen Horner, ATK & Dougie Doins amongst many others have consistently nailed the lying cowboys to the wall by using their false words & lying deeds against them. They've highlighted to the world the incompetence & greed of two morally corrupt granny selling individuals. We all worked really hard to confine the diseases within our club until they had nowhere else to turn but on each other. Sadly it would seem that there may be some truth to that old saying 'Honour amonst theives', (must be why 'Arry lept to their defence). I don't even think it's about them recovering any kind of loss at this stage, (ok, maybe a bit - money grabbing bastards that they are). I think it's more about revenge. Some kind of dick measuring contest. An "Our lawyers are bigger than your lawyers" type of bullshit. We hate them, they hate us. They hate us for the same reason that they purported to love us - our passion, our loyalty, our quiet dignity, & our knowledge of the game...... All of the things that they tried to take away from us. The Liverpool Way. We're still here. They're on the back foot. Don't let them divide and rule. Keep uniting. Keep fighting! If I'm late with this I'm sorry, started my post after reading a couple posts on the texas court thread. Sarah McDonald YNWA
  9. Dead? Dead you say? Dancing? On Their Graves? Oh Yeah! Probably putting this in the wrong place. Hope it doesn't melt the fantasy. Sorry! Supporting Liverpool has always been a fultime job but it's never been as difficult as it is now. I thought the Souness years were bad! Hicks & Gillette have drained every dirty dollar out of our club (we couldn't afford Carlton Cole FFS) , they're both hanging on for the biggest profit that they can get from us while bleeding us dry. All of this after copious lies & broken promises about building us a stadium, funding transfers & building on the solid foundation & history of our club. All that they've succeeded in doing is stripping us of our assetts, demeaning everything we stand for & driving a wedge between fellow fans, some of whom don't seem to have a clue about what's actually happening, some that don't want to know and the rest of us, who know but can't agree on what to do about it. They're typical colonialists. Divide & Conquer. There are talks of match boycotts & picket lines later in the season. I know a lot of people will disagree with some of the tactics. but with those "leverage buyout merchants" trying to kill the soul of our club the options are limited. We have to fight for what's ours. How many hours, days, months, years & so much more have we invested in this club? How much joy have they brought us (not much recently - but I'm old enough to remember)? How much banter did we have on away days? I only make it to 60% of our home games now but for what it's worth (probably not that much) I'm in favour of a boycott & a picket line . Whenever I'm home I'll do what I can. They only hear & speak the language of the dollar, so we have to hit them where it hurts. Their pocket. I haven't said anything that hasn't been said a thousand times before but I had to get in.
