Earn us a fortune? I thought we wanted to win trophies not boost the net spend figures. Degen is now proving a worthy squad player. Even Voronin had a few plus points before he became enemy number 1 for having a pony tail. If you want a bench full of galacticos you're supporting the wrong club.

Even if we had unlimited funds bringing in experienced bosmans in to bolster the squad is always good business, a few notable exceptions accepted. If Torres ever gets fully fit he's going to start the vast majority of games, so it's unlikely David Villa is going to come and play second fiddle is it. This sneering at free transfers and unknown names before we've even seen them play is nothing more than gloryhunter snobbery.

What was the use of posting it then? I myself doubt Purslow would turn down a deal with serious investors which would lessen the debt and get the stadium on track, but until we have the facts, which have yet to have been divulged, it's all conjecture...and pretty pointless.

It's a valid point but for a different argument. Our fans being hypocrites because they only saw the light about the Sun after they printed vicious lies about us is not really important in the greater scheme of 96 fans losing their lives is it.

I'd like to see us go at shite like Wolves instead of setting out to stifle them, which only serves to fill them with confidence. I'd go Degen at right back, Carra and Kyriagos in the middle, Aurelio on the left, Maxi, Lucas, Masch and Riera in midfield and two out of Ngog. Kuyt and Babel up front.
