I would take the point that it'd be almost impossible for the FA to prove Holgate lied to distract from what he'd just done. But there has to be some sort of process or system to stop players throwing out false accusations. If this was a workplace incident and someone threw out a false racism accusation, whether misheard or not, I'm not sure they'd get off so easily.

I genuinely dislike Lovren. Think hes a fraud of a defender. But... today he was shafted by the ref. It was a blatant dive. You could argue he didnt need to put his arms on him but there wasnt even a push.

I think we have to be approaching a point for Klopp where its obvious we need to improve on Henderson. Both in terms of the captaincy and his position. Hes the epitomy of average and its far too important a role to have an average player in. Its these types of decisions that could make or break Klopp over the long term. Think he needs to just get ruthless and do it or it'll come back to haunt him.

Somebody mentioned about Klavan being mentally stronger and today showed it. He had a shit opening 20 mins or so with a few stupid mistakes and decisions but didnt let it rock him. He was steady after that. But truth is he and Matip had fuck all to do. Against a better side Klavan just wont be up to it. But he is definitely more composed than Lovren.

I think a lot of negativity has simply come from people knowing full well what would happen when we didnt sign a proper defender. It was like steaming full ahead into the worlds biggest iceberg. Regardless of all that we're not in as bad a position as it seems. All we need to do is keep ourselves in the mix for top 4 until January. But failing to do anything then transfer wise wont help things one bit.
