Either Cornwall again or over to Italy to visit my mum

Like most on here, I'm amazed at some of those selections. Stevens is a waste of space, Farrell I'm also surprised at, as he seems to buckle under pressure and no Rory Best. And as for Hartley, fuck knows what has gone on there. I can see Halfpenny being put onto the wing at some stage as well.

Some very interesting views by Guscott there, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if that squad is very close to the one selected.

Cheers LFD, not sure he's the right captain, but from the criteria in that article, it appears that he's favourite.

Don't know if anybody else from here went, but I saw Kreator, Evile and Xentrix at teh Ritz in Manchester on Saturday night. Kretor were just simply stunning, best band I've seen in a while. Circle pits were mental. Good to see Xentrix again after all these years, and I'm still undecided on Evile. Their first album was really good, but I'm not sure if they've progressed that much since.

Cameron knows that he doesn't have many voters in Liverpool, so decided to stick his 5p worth in. I'm sure that as a father of 2 children myself, I wouldn't be following his example of leaving my kids alone in a pub.

I saw them on that tour as well, in Wolverhampton.

And their new album is meant to be brilliant. A mix of old riffs that weren't included on Heartwork, reworked by Jeff and Bill, with some new stuff as well. Can't wait to see them again in November.

Just playing the new Black Sabbath song, and I'm genuinely surprised how good it is.

Just listening to Xentrix, forgot how decent they were. Their cover of "Ghostbusters" is just hilarious. Looking forward to seeing them with Kreator and Evile next Saturday in Manchester.

Exactly, they keep it simple, no complicated riffs and drum rolls, just ballsy, kick ass rock n roll

Great to see Airbourne back. Looking forward to when they announce their next tour. I've seen them once and they were excellent. Check out a band called Hell's Addiction, saw them on Friday in Manchester and they were really good.

First, Best, Most Surprising and Last album bought

I've blocked that out of my system - just horrible from start to finish -
He's always going to split opinions. I was having the same discussion with a mate last night after he'd watched the game, I didn't watch it. He was raving about Carroll and how he should be brought back. The simple fact is that with Rodgers in charge, I doubt that he'll ever play in a red shirt again.

Do you think a move away from his boyhood club might help his attitude?

Just to add to the Micah Richards debate, I was speaking to my neighbour on Saturday who had been a City season ticket holder for almost 30 years, and he reckons that Richards would make an ideal centre half. Someone on here questioned his ability to play football, but my mate said he's very comfortable on the ball and has the physical attributes to make him an ideal centre half. He thinks City will cash in on him this summer, as he's never going to replace Zabaleta in the right back position, which is where Mancini tends to play him, but my mate would like to see him next to Kompany as a centre half. I suppose we have to see if the injuries have taken their toll on him though. What's Fanchester City's opinion on him?

I'd be shocked if he didn't go. The Irish game aside, he had a good 6 nations tournament.

Ashton seems to already be living on past glories and seems a very selfish player. I definitely wouldn't take him.

Not sure if I read this correctly, but I'm sure that I saw on Sky Sports News that Quade Cooper has been left out of the training camp for the aussies

Did he play it at Swansea? Just wondering if he gets the players he wants, then he could play the higher line, but, as you say, its highly unlikely.
-
That was my reason for bringing his name up. He's due back from injury soon, would just be interesting to see him play at CB instead of RB. He has plenty of pace, so we could play a higher line.
