1. Back to the good old days with a 3pm Saturday kick off against a botton half table team that i actually feel confident of beating rather than hoping we beat them. Skrtel against Rodellega scares me a bit though.
2. I think he's overrated but only because i hear people rate him as one of the best midfielders ever yet think he is'nt but almost up there. I would put Scholes ahead of him anyway.
3. Fucking had me in stitches that, someone rep him. Carrol arrives at Purslow's house
4. Marc Overmars at Arsenal. Guiseppe Rossi at Man Utd now at Villarreal.
5. I think this is what we will use for the rest of the season with Suaraz on the left maybe when Caroll is fit. -----------Reina------------- Kelly---Carra--Agger--Johnson -----Gerrard--Lucas---------- Kuyt-------Raul----------Maxi ----------Suaraz-------------
6. Unfortunatly there are a few on these boards. He's actually one of out best passers in the team. Yeah i know alot of his passes consist of short range passes but he does find players in space and most importantly knows when to keep it simple and when to try a more ambitious pass. Some players always go for the Hollywood pass and fans seems to remember the 2 out of the 5 times when the player pulls it off rather than the other 3 times they lost possession.
7. This list does'nt really show us much as alot of those clubs will have a debt of some sort. It would be interesting to see a new list that takes into account the debt and i doubt most of those clubs would be in that top 20. I remember the list coming out last year showing in depth where the clubs make the revenue. It highlighted how far we fall short over Arsenal & Man Utd in terms of matchday ticket sales. It was around 42m for us whereas they made around 100m a year.
8. The same shit goes on with Aquilani as i hear the same lines of him being shit and always injured yet when he actually played for us he did quite well. Half the people that say that and the same about Lucas probably hardly watch full games and if they do watch us they watch us on MOTD and/or hear about the game from their mates whilst discussing how good they would be as a manager in real life cos they won the Champions League with Hereford Utd on Football Manager.
9. It actually decreases my quality of life if i watch England play...even if we win as i know we will fuck up in any tournament and then have to live through the period after where everyone and his wife debates on what went wrong and why. Only for us to win the next 2 or 3 games against teams ranked outside the top 30 and proceed to proclaim ourselves one of the best teams in the world again which is just bollocks.
10. When was the last time Rep. of Ireland played N. Ireland?
11. Exactly. Even if it was my property i would not challenge them as its only fucking jewellery at the end of the day. She should'nt of tried to stop them but fair play to her. The fucker videoing it and all the people running after them once they were on the floor - shame on them. If you're gonna stop them then why then and not before?
12. Stats from Football Manager don't count as this is the real world. Above all his attitude should praised and a example of how every footballer should act rather than act like a whiny brat when things are not going your way like it seems alot of players do nowadays. He's a great example of what a Liverpool player should be off & on the field, some seem to forget what one is it seems.
13. I like this as i want both Gerrard & Raul to be further forward together rather one of them sitting alongside Lucas as a CM which we don't really need. ------------Reina-------------- Kelly----Carra--Agger---Johnson ------------Lucas-------------- Kuyt----Gerrard---Meireles---Suarez ------------Caroll-------------
14. Its pretty strong i agree from a journo in a national newspaper rather than a regional one. I think it showed he was really pissed about the Torres comments about romance in football rather than say that Torres moved for the money that someone on here thought it was all about. He was right but i think he maybe went a bit too far in some of the words he used like Nando has a 'dead soul'. What team does he support, anyone know?
15. Your lack of a fullstop upsets me! We are TLW, that sort of shit belongs over at RAWK.
16. I liked the opening few lines by Holt in his article. ''It did not feel right that Chelsea should lose yesterday but there was something sweet about the fact that Fernando Torres did. The enemy of romance in football found himself on the wrong end of a beating from underdogs who just happen to have won the European Cup and the Champions League five more times than he has. The £50m striker with the dead soul was beaten by a team fashioned by a manager who has more feeling for his football club than Torres will ever have. The man who jumped ship because he couldn't wait to start stacking up the trophies with a big club saw the big club defeated by the side he had just deserted''
17. This is one of his best qualities i think in that he keeps his composure esp. today when the midfield was packed like today plus he seems to be gettting better at tackling players.
18. That photo is fucking epic. It's like Gerrard is doing his pose for his inevitable statue it seems.
19. Tbh Redknapp is talking sense on SS. Carra MOTM for me as he kept Drogba quiet and seemed to be everyone making block tackles.
