  1. Lucas and Poulsen aren't a good partnership, 4-4-2 against City was silly and his substitutions are too late in my opinion. But it's a learning curve. Stop moaning.
  2. Who would you prefer to start the majority of games from the right wing?
  3. Never been to St.Andrews before and was wondering if any of you could help me out with parking and which boozer to go in before the match? Any help would be appreciated
  4. Shelvey shouldn't be ahead of Spearing. Spearing played well in pre-season whereas Shelvey didnt.
  5. With Mascherano gone and Lucas and Poulsen putting in big shifts on Thursday night, it's more than plausible that Spearing and Pacheco have a good chance of starting on sunday. Travelling all that way can take thier tolls on players and this may mean that fielding these two hungry youngsters is less of a risk than putting out players who are tired mentally and physically. Liverpool can still put out a good team on the weekend though after leaving out Milan, Gerrard, Maxi, Torres, Agger and Skrtel. But players such as Poulsen and Lucas may find it too hard in coming back to full fitness in time for sunday which could leave us fielding a team similar to this. ------------------Reina----------------- --Johnson---Carra-------Skrtel---Agger-- -----------------Spearing--------------- -------Maxi-------Gerrard---Jovanovic---- ------------------Pacheco--------------- -------------------Torres----------------
  6. Did you see Slur Alex's face after the game yesterday? He's definitely back on the whiskey!
  7. Imagine showing these sorta pics on the official forums...they would probably try and report you guys to the police. Anyway, fantastic pic Alan Sex. Youjizz.com
  8. Don't have sky.....meant to be shit now though isn't it?
  9. It emphasises the proffesionalism of the players and also makes them look like more of a team.
  10. I thought he had a decent game last night. It was always going to be difficult for the lad, after playing only 20 minutes all pre season. He had a shaky start but I think that he got better as the game went on. He may be a little on the slow side, but he makes up for that with his grit and determination. I would much rather see him play in midfield with someone who can attack like Gerrard. Poulsen and Lucas are very similar players, which made us have a lack of creativity last night. Maybe if we had a different ref Poulsen would have got off the mark last night which would have been a great confidence boost for the lad. My overall verdict is that he isn't a world beater, but he's a player that can sit in the midfield and do a good job for the team.
  11. I wouldn't ever play Lucas and Poulsen together in midfield again. I thought that they were very similar in styles and didn't ever look like they would make any penetrating passes. Some may say that was similar to Masch and Lucas all last season, hense the reason we were so bad on so many occasions. Joe Cole should never have taken that penalty for us. We were one up, not 4 up! The guy hasn't taken a pen since he was 13 apparently. A good choice would be to have Jovanovic taking it. He has a brilliant track record in Belguim. I would have brought on Pacheco instead of Ngog as I think that the change in system had a detrimental affect on the way we played in the last 20 or so minutes. All in all, we were very unlucky not to win by 3 or 4 goals but they didn't quite play well enough for me last night.
  12. Sky Sports were at it yet again today. As per usual they were sucking up to "Fergie's boys". "There will be a lot of green and gold scarves on display yet again today as United fans continue thier battle against the Glazers" was more or less what was said on Sky Sports News. Did we ever get that coverage when we were protesting against our shitty owners at home games? No we didn't. Richard Keys and co blatantly ignored all the protests that were going on directly behind him when we could have done with that bit more coverage. It makes me sick that Sky go to all that effort to broadcast Uniteds views, but with us they rarely give a toss. Come on Newcastle!!!!!
  13. Looks like a strong player. I wouldn't say he's got blistering pace but he makes up for that with his clever work in the box. If we could get him at a decent price then I would be pleased.
  14. HAHA, he also hot injured after 13 minutes playing for Stoke today. Serves the little twat right!!!!
  15. Kenwyne Jones snubbed a move to Liverpool to join Stoke and Tony Pulis - News - MirrorFootball.co.uk According to Kenwyne Jones, he turned down a move to Liverpool to go Stoke. Liverpool made a late attempt to prize him away from the pending move to stoke apparently. Well, I wouldn't have wanted that prick anyway, but it's good to see we have money to spend in a position we need to strengthen.
