I think there is a middle ground with Amir. On the one hand he is old enough to know what he was doing out there and it looks pretty damning, but given his age he may well have been dragged into it by more senior members in the first place. His day did not come enough though really, his superstar status was based on a phenomenal summer, that combined with getting bladdered and being a cool guy. In terms of his cricket career he was miles behind Tendulker and Warne, and Jaques Kallis is 10 times the all rounder Freddy was, one of the very best cricketers there has ever been. He was good Freddy, but i do think he was a bit overated at times, people seem to get wrapped in his personality.
