The Orb at Glastonbury in 1993- I'd been drinking and smoking all day, and decided to do my first trip. Came up ridiculously strong during the Ozric Tentacles set, freaked out a bit as all these crusties were turning into vampires and had to go the side of the stage to try and calm down. I spent the entirety of the Orb set semi-comatose near some ditch, desperately trying to straighten out a bit. I also think I threw up on a tent at some point. Not a single gig, but I lost an hour and a half during the Stag and Dagger festival in Glasgow last year. We started drinking early, and I stupidly couldn't be arsed to eat and ended up just staggering around various venues. I also took a header on the way back to the station when I tried to vault over a safety barrier- twatted my head and scratched the fuck out of my glasses. About the only vivid memory I have is someone asking me if I was OK, and me replying, 'no, I've got cancer'.

Yep, he has no truck whatsoever with identity politics. Be interesting if Tom Walker had the same views as his character.

Dunno about that. My missus did a marathon walk round Loch Lomond a couple of years back- I went to pick her and her mate up in the evening and was there for half an hour and got absolutely bitten to death. I looked like the Elephant Man the next morning. Little bastards.

We could have our own intranet then, with no need for those foreigners to ruin things with their filthy ways. There'll be no companies left here, so the state could have pages to barter goods and services, like tins of beans for sex or a gallon of petrol for your first born. We could also get Citizen Points for reporting anyone not partaking in the daily Two Minutes of Hate towards 'them' or wanting to go abroad to get medicine.

I don't think it would lead to their destruction. They've more than willing to blame everyone else but themselves and sadly there's a decent number of people who are receptive to their divide and rule tactics. Expect the blame-shifting to go into overdrive if the worst comes to the worst.
