Still though the way people are talking, deflection of not it would have hit the international space station instead of going anywhere near the goal. South africa managed to score from a distance in the opening game and as said earlier Xabi had no problem crossing. As has been stated the germans used it since it was unveiled, think the yanks used it beginning of the MLS season aswell. I think its an easy out for alot of people to blame the ball(not saying its blameless but it should take the whole blame)

How long have the players actually had to play with this ball? Is it just a case of as soon as they got to south africa ? Or have they had longer. I agree to an extent with long shots etc cos it requires more control etc but the ball shouldnt be to blame everything this tournament(greens howler for example).
