    This is one of the few things I disagree with you on. Moores and Parry were wrong in keeping Houllier for two shite seasons. They should have removed him when we ended up 5th but decided to keep him and the result was another shite season of hoof-and-hope and yet another missed opportunity. I can't help but think that the same is going to happen with Benitez.

    Ten fucking years and hundreds of millions of pounds spent and the best winger we have had is a fucking central midfielder. This decade may have been better than the 1990's, but it really has been abysmal compared to what we've been used to between '65 and '89.

One welcome sign, though, is that it seems Tomkins has run out of the usual shit excuses to spout and simply opted to fuck off. Or has been fucked off. Either way, long may it continue.

    I hear you mate. Torres leading the line on his own, Gerrard with a face like a smacked arse, players like Lucas, Kuyt, Kyriagos, Babel, Voronin and Insua not even fit to tie MY shoelaces, let alone be anywhere near the Red shirt that so many players before them would have died for. We have had too many inept performances for it to be a coincidence anymore, and I cannot believe how many people still trust Benitez to deliver. He needs to leave and leave now, with a shred of dignity left in him.

    This is spot on. Even Mick fucking McCarthy would have gotten the sack with such a poor record. It's such a sad situation to see the club that I love like this. I've seen many disappointments ever since I've started supporting the club in the beginning of the Souness era, but this has got to be by far the most devastating time to be a Liverpool fan since 1990.

    Can't really see the logic of such a thread to be honest. Tell me how would we be a better club if these so-called "glory hunter" fans left? Would we really perform better on the pitch, or at least so much as to win us the title? Would Benitez suddenly wake up with a vision and stop playing shithouses like Lucas and Kuyt because these "gloryhunters" have left? And before the Rafa-lovers jump on me and call me a "gloryhunter", I started supporting the Reds in the worst period in our history, the Souness years. Although I suspect that what is to follow soon might just eclipse that. Anyway, if it doesn't have any meaningful effect on our performances, I don't give a fuck if we were supported by headless chickens.

    Yes I totally agree, but say that to the Rafa-lovers on here and they'll crucify you. This joke doesn't take anything away from the fact that Benitez should leave with a shred of dignity left. Just wanted to lighten the mood up a bit on here, which I've clearly failed to do. Ah well.

    Why is that something to laugh at? To me that's yet another missed opportunity that we've lost against the worst and bottom team in the league when the Mancs have lost too.

    Not really convinced myself, but even Original202 would do a better job than Benitez at the moment, so I'd be happy if Hodgson were to replace him. Never thought we'd ever sink this low, but these are desperate times.
